This week's happiness prompt follows on from our smile challenge from last week: Ever notice how a simple smile from a stranger can instantly lift your spirits? There's actually science behind that! When you smile, your brain releases feel-good chemicals like dopamine and serotonin, boosting your mood. And the best part? When you smile at someone else, their brain gets a similar hit of happiness, thanks to mirror neurons. It’s a win-win situation—you're both left feeling better!
But it’s not just about the smiles. Positive connections, even small ones, matter more than we realise. Whether it’s a quick chat with a neighbour or a friendly "good morning" to someone on your commute, these little interactions build a sense of community and belonging. They remind us that we’re all in this together, making life a bit brighter for everyone involved.
Remember, these small gestures can create a ripple effect of kindness. So, this week I challenge you to smile at a stranger or offer a kind word. It just might make all the difference—for both of you!

Sunday hugs to you all, lovely ones🧡
This is exactly what a women’s circle is all about – no advice, no judgement, just good old-fashioned listening and heart-to-heart sharing.
We had such a delightful gathering on Tuesday! We chatted about everything under the sun, from our life journeys and growth experiences to wild swimming, hormones, and the learning opportunities of living with teenagers.
If you fancy joining us next time, we’d love to have you! It's all about connecting with other like-minded women and a touch of healing magic. Plus, your first session is on us, so you can get a feel for what we’re all about.
We get together on the first Friday of each month at 2pm and the second Tuesday of each month at 7pm. Each session lasts a relaxing and energising 90 minutes.

Having struggled with panic attacks since my teens I am in complete awe of this presenter. There’s not many things scarier than feeling that rising panic (skin flushing, palms sweating, eyesight blurring, heart racing, dizziness, limbs getting heavier, hearing going muffled, reality slipping away) - especially if you’re somewhere public or where the attention it on you. He dealt with this so calmly - if I was wearing a hat I’d take it off to him.
I’ve spent many years managing my own anxiety. I know my triggers, I recognise the early signs. But if I’m honest, since lockdown it has felt a little more like an up-hill struggle sometimes.
As much as I don’t like to see people struggling, this is a nice reminder that if you do get anxiety or panic attacks you’re very far from alone and what we feel is very, very real.
To anyone feeling it this morning - be gentle with yourself, you’ve got this
TV meteorologist has on-air panic attack during weather report: 'Going to need to stop' Nate Byrne with Australia's ABC has openly shared his experiences with on-air anxiety.
BOOKING SYSTEM UP AND RUNNING AGAIN🧡 Leyland Ladies! 🧡
Fancy a little escape from the madness of the world? Why not join us TONIGHT at 7pm for the Leyland Women’s Circle? We're gathering in the cosy community room at Leyland United Reformed Church—it’s the perfect spot to unwind and just be.
This circle is all about gentle connection, support and a sprinkle of beautiful witchy magic. Whether you’re looking to share, listen, or simply soak in the positive vibes, you’ll be in the best company.
Feeling a bit unsure? Here are some FAQs to put your mind at ease:
1️⃣ What happens in a women's circle?
We chat, we laugh, we sometimes shed a tear—but most importantly, we support each other and take time out to find a sense of peace. Expect some gentle meditation, open conversations, and a lovely sense of community.
2️⃣ Do I have to share?
Only if you want to! There's zero pressure. You can speak up, listen and take it all in or just switch off and relax. It's entirely up to you.
3️⃣ Is it religious?
Not at all! We're about spirituality, not religion. You don’t need to believe in a God or follow any specific path to join us. This is a safe, welcoming space for every woman.
4️⃣ What should I bring?
Just yourself! Maybe a cosy blanket or a cushion if you fancy getting extra comfy. Wooly socks (we take our shoes off in the Circle) and a bottle of water never go amiss either.
And here’s the best part: Use the code CALM at checkout, and your first session is on us—completely FREE!
So, what are you waiting for? Come along, meet some fab women, and let's forget the world for a while together. We can't wait to see you there! 🧡

This week's Happiness Prompt is a nice one (but I'm not trying the dance move in the photo - I'd put my back out!!)
There’s something incredibly powerful about a smile. It’s a small, seemingly insignificant gesture, yet it has the ability to change not just your mood, but the mood of those around you as well. Even on days when you’re not feeling particularly chirpy, the act of smiling can create a ripple effect that brightens your day and the day of others.
So, this week, I invite you to do something everyday that makes you smile. PLUS smile at at least 1 random person each day. Don't forget to take notice of the impact this has; on your own vibrations, on the face of the person you smile at and how much your smile makes a difference to everyone around. Anchor in that positive feeling. The more you smile, the more you'll feel that positivity, and the more you'll smile. A beautifully happy self-fulfilling prophecy 😁
(It can be difficult to muster a smile if you're not feeling too chipper - if this reinstates and you'd like a hand to lift your mood, then check out our "41 Days to Fabulous" programme. Everything you need to invite happiness in your life - a gentle morning routine, guided meditations and 41 days of lovely easy tasks to get your happy on): https://sales.naturalendometriosisexpert.com/41-days-to-feel-fabulous/
Feeling like this might be my Sunday! Whatever you’re up to today let the positivity flow and the love surround you 🧡

What have you got planned for this week? Good and bad, this week I invite you to slow down, sit with it al if you need to, and enjoy every second. If it's something you're looking forward to then take a mindful journey as you're experiencing it and celebrate the joy in each moment. Why do you enjoy it? What are you feeling? What will you do more of? And if it's something you're not looking forward to then try to reframe it - what aspects of it can you look forward to (the outcome? the learning? the process?) If nothing comes to mind then how can you reframe one thing to make it better for you? Use a mantra that you can say beforehand and repeat during to emphasise the positive. And focus on the outcome. But most importantly for this week, don't rush it. Whatever it is and the bad as well as the good, slow down, be mindful and enjoy it🧡

Let us celebrate the incredible diversity and complexity of our womanhood.
Women are not confined to one box or label. We are a beautiful landscape of contrasting qualities: light and dark, gentle and fierce, strong and soft, warriors and healers.
Each woman is unique, with her own blend of characteristics that rise beyond simple categorization. It’s this diversity that makes us women so beautiful and extraordinary.
Let’s embrace the full spectrum of womanhood, empowering all women to be their authentic Wild selves.

Have you experienced a women's circle before?
A women’s circle is a lovely gathering where women come together to share, support and uplift one another in a warm and friendly environment. It’s a bit like a cosy get-together with friends, where you can chat about life, laugh, maybe shed a tear or two, and leave feeling refreshed, relaxed and inspired.
Whether you’re looking for some heartfelt conversations, practical advice, or simply a break from your busy routine, our circle has something for everyone. Come along and see for yourself – you might just find exactly what you’ve been looking for!
"That was lovely. I feel so chilled out" Emma
"I didn't know quite what to expect but it beat everything I thought it might be. Lovely. I'm definitely going to invite my friends" Dianne

We meet on the first Friday of every month (this week!) at 2pm and on the second Tuesday of every month at 7pm.

We hope to welcome you soon 🧡
So true. This was SO how I felt - I’d rather be happy and peaceful than resilient.
If this resonates why not join us at the Leyland Women's Circle on Friday at 2pm. Support, calm and happiness in abundance 🧡
Some of my very best friends live a distance away. I am so grateful for our friendship; we're a small group, who've known each other since school (that's a loooooong time now😂) and we know each other well enough to just 'be' in each other's company. We're lucky. We have a group chat and one of our merry band posts a link to a song every Friday, so we have that weekly connection that puts a smile on our faces. But even then there's nothing nicer than receiving a quick message in the chat that you're not expecting with someone's news or just checking in.
So this week, I invite you to reach out to someone you've not spoken to for a while and reconnect. Drop them a link to a song that means a lot to you both. Share a funny memory you have of them. Tell them what you've been up to. Or just ask them how they're doing.
And don't forget to check in with the emotions you get, both in sending the message and when you receive the happy reply that will come.
(A gentle word of warning - we talk a lot about boundaries and vibrations; if there is a reason that you've cut out communication with someone, even if that reason is just that something didn't feel right, then don't feel pushed to reconnect. That isn't what this week's prompt is about.
Positive connection with people that raise your vibrations and make your soul soar only🧡)
I’m not certain what they class as “older” but already this resonates 😂
😹😹😹
To anyone who needs to hear this today, you’ve totally got this and you are enough 🧡
It’s self care day today. What 1 thing will you pledge to do to raise your vibrations and get your happy on today? 🧡
We’re here 🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️
🧡🧡🧡 share those feel-good happy vibes - it’s contagious 🥰
I was asked this question a few months ago by a very nervous perspective client. She was terrified of the idea of surgery and really didn't want to have it. She had all sorts of fears around the surgery itself, around the impact of it on her life and about her endo returning afterwards.
I'll be honest, I think it's the question I dread the most.
Define "need surgery"?
Please don't get me wrong, I am not anti-surgery - but I truly believe that the number of people who HAVE surgery is far greater than those who genuinely NEED it. Some people do need it. Some people genuinely will benefit from it. However I don't believe that a lot of people I talk to do need it.
I was told I'd need surgery 20 years ago. I still haven't needed surgery.
What I can guarantee my clients is that working with me, you'll feel better than you did at the start. I will teach you the techniques I have used to treat myself, I'll guide you through other remedies and treatments to try, I'll support you to understand your endometriosis and take control of it yourself and I'll arm you with everything you need to manage it in the future.
But the outcome is firmly in your hands. If you embrace the journey, do the homework and follow the framework then you have the power to manage your endometriosis yourself and be more informed about how much you need that surgery - you'll be able to make a more informed decision about whether or not you'll need it.
That's not a bad guarantee.
(I don't know what happened to that prospective client. She didn't sign up. I don't know if someone somewhere gave her that elusive guarantee (I hope not!!). I don't know if she just went ahead and had surgery. I hope that she's feeling well and happy, whichever fork she took on her endo journey x)
A-Z of Endometriosis: G is for gynaecologist.
The guru of endo. It's where we're sent when our GP doesn't know what to do with us and our expectations are high. We're finally getting the recognition we deserve and finally we'll get to speak to someone who really understands what we're going through.
Now don't get me wrong - some gynaes are fabulous. But some, well, some aren't so fabulous.
We can easily get blinded by the degree certificate on the wall and their grasp of the latin names for everything, so much so that we follow them blindly down the route that they lead us. Yet currently, endometriosis is not on the programme of study to become a qualified gynaecologist. I'll say that again. Endo isn't on the curriculum for trainee gynaecologists.
This is changing. The UK government's Women's Health Strategy makes clear that endometriosis should (and will) be studied.
But until that's the case, there is no guarantee that your gynaecologist will have any greater knowledge than your GP of what we're going through. So please make sure that the gynaecologist you're seeing HAS taken 'extra' study and has done a residency or additional practice with endometriosis patients. Don't be afraid to question them. And if you're still not happy, don't be afraid to ask to change specialists.
It really does make a difference when you get a good gynae with specialist endo knowledge.
