Meet Rayhan, Ausome's Volunteer of the Month! Volunteering with Ausome through Carleton's Campus to Community program, Rayhan was a fan of Ausome's vibe—in particular, watching athletes have fun and the staff's kindness.
His fave Ausome memory? Rayhan says that while every moment with Ausome has been memorable, nothing compares to the first time he saw the athletes' smiles and joy. When not volunteering, he enjoys reading and playing soccer. His go-to quote: "Nothing is impossible unless you make it so." Rayhan also aspires to be a novelist in the future—we can't wait to see what he writes!

GREAT NEWS: Ausome has just received Canada Post Community Foundation grant! Thank you to the amazing frontline post office staff who fundraise to support children in communities across Canada. These much-needed funds will go towards creating levels within some of our longstanding programs such as basketball, soccer, track and field, and more.

Director of Programs, Alix Alldridge, recently shared her expertise with the Special Champions League and the European Football for Development Network for the development of their Best Practices Research Report. The report was developed to empower organizations to create more opportunities for children and adults with intellectual disabilities to play sports!
