Mighty Minds & Mighty Thinkers Family Connections
Creating connections and conversation for our Mighty families
Parents, can you relate to this?
Are you tired of seeing your child struggle with organization, time management, and focus?
Our Mighty Problem Solvers Group is designed for children between the ages of 8-12, offering a supportive environment where they can develop essential skills to complete everyday routines, improve organizational and time management skills, and much more!
DM us to learn more! We just have a few spots left!
New Group Alert!!! You ASKED and we LISTENED ❤️
Mighty Problem Solvers is for children between the ages of 8-12 years old who would benefit from learning strategies to support their executive functioning skills (memory, problem solving, organizing, planning, impulse control, regulation, etc.) contact us to find out more on how to register!
We sure needed our mittens today! This book is so fun! Easy to follow and a great book to turn into play!
Happy Holidays!
Our elf is going to invite our littles to practice printing in a sensory based way tomorrow! 😊
We are so excited to announce that our Mighty Minds regulation group for children is back in January! Please email, dm, or call us if you are interested in registering your child!
Gearing up for my next few sessions of the week over here where I will be diving into the concept of interoception and how our body gives us so many signals and clues about what we need and how we might be feeling! Listening to these clues leads to better regulation overall!
These are some of the materials we use as we teach these concepts to kids in a fun and play based way! When learning is fun and hands on, kids tend to retain better!
Spider-Man and Iron- man joined in on our session today !
We are so lucky to have such wonderful volunteers to support our groups! These girls are so amazing and our groups would not be possible without them .joy_
Tongs, tongs, tongs! Useful for picking up objects and strengthening hands and fingers!
So many options to choose from too 😊
Here we have strawberry pickers, salad tongs, alligator tongs, wooden tongs, and others! All of them offer something different! For example, how wide do we need to open our hand to use one versus another? or what is the resistance of the tong when you squeeze them?
Many ideas to consider when selecting the right fine motor tools! 🛠️

Family traditions connect us, and expand us. One thanksgiving tradition we started two years ago was to have a thankful pumpkin! Everyone who comes over for thanksgiving dinner, writes down what they are thankful for!
This tradition has sparked curiosity, gratefulness, and has given space for each family member to reflect on what they feel thankful for. The kids love reading and re-reading what everyone wrote down for days even after the thanksgiving gathering is over.
What are your family traditions around the holidays? We would love to hear what our Mighty families are upto!
We want to wish you all a happy and mighty thanksgiving weekend! As we sit and reflect, we acknowledge we have so much to be thankful for.
We are especially thankful for all of the incredible families we have the privilege of working with. Our hearts always leave our groups and sessions a little bit more full ❤️
