As a fun distraction, I have been making these bottlecap pies using bottlecaps, sculpey and paint. Maybe I will turn them into magnets. Any other ideas?

Just got back from another wonderful FATE Conference. I had the privilege to co-chair (with ) a panel titled, Strength in Numbers: Exploring the relationship between 2 & 4 year institutions. I am so grateful for the panelists, their passion for this topic and the necessary conversations that this panel generated. Thank you!

Just finished this drawing. Put in a couple detail shots too. Playing with the tender. Enjoyed the mobility of the frosted Mylar.

New drawing. Tried a slightly different approach that came out of my residency this summer. Used ink wash to create loose painting of set up (yes that is a skeleton riding a unicorn piñata). Then went in with ink pens to play with line and mark. Feeling pretty happy with the result. Working on a companion piece now.
