At the Country Christmas Loft we are kicking Off the Holiday Season this Sunday, September 17 from 1:00 pm til 3:00 pm. "Three Months To Christmas" is a way to bring some smiles to neighbors, friends, and passers-by on the busy highway.
On the lawn outside the Loft with the animated figures looking on, there will be free ice cream samples from Island Homemade Ice Cream, the Gingerbread People for photos and Holiday music will fill the air.
There is no admission charge and no purchase is necessary, but visitors who want to get in the spirit early are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy to be donated to the Toys for Kids program. Toys for Kids of Vermont is a volunteer program sponsored by the Vermont Marine Corps League which collects new, unwrapped toys during the Christmas season and oversees their distribution to needy children in Vermont. All money collected stays in Vermont and is used to purchase age-appropriate toys to supplement donations.

The Shelburne Farmer's Market opens 9am to 1pm Starting May 27th, 2023!

Enjoy a family-friendly ballet on the farm! The Farm to Ballet Project is an original ballet about a farm through the seasons. Dancing vegetables, familiar animals, and even the seasons themselves come to life through dance in a joyful and entertaining show. The ballet explores the relationship between farmers and land, natural food cycles, and the human role in ecosystems.

Bring a picnic or enjoy food from onsite food trucks Pizza44 and Mister Foods Fancy followed by a fresh scoop of Sisters of Anarchy Ice Cream made locally by Fisher Brothers Farm. Proceeds from the ticket sales will benefit Vermont FEED, a farm to school partnership project of NOFA-VT and Shelburne Farms.
