Everywhere I work I'm extremely social and connected....but when I go home I disappear. I isolate. I struggle with depression and anxiety. I'm inconsistent with my art but I'm always spilling with ideas in my mind. I don't spend much time with friends or family but when i do its with very select people who love me and allow me to be complicated and vulnerable. I usually sit in a mental fog unsure of my next move. I know the tools for how to be artistically successful but find the concept of success to be obnoxious to maintain and overwhelming to commit to.... potentially even disengenuine for me at times. I prefer quiet spaces mostly....
Even though I'm playful and hyper at work I tend to be tired and zoned out in my daily life. I prefer nature and hate crowds... I like places most people don't care for and find the idea of massive social scenes to be chaotic and distracting from anything I would perceive as fulfilling. I like awkward and strange and new ideas. I like experimentation. I admire thoughtful and compassionate rule breakers. I look forward to fresh air and open expanses. If I don't exercise I build up with tension. If I don't eat well my depression becomes devastating. With auto-immune disease my system is even more sensitive. With hypertension I catch myself struggling for breath. I use my art as therapy. The idea of monetizing it has always been an upsetting battle in my head. I always tend to self sabotage when I get an opportunity. I think it's because I'm afraid of that relation with art feeling souless and I need that relationship to remain pure. I use it to survive in my brain....to make sense of my relationship to everything around me. So....if I disappear randomly....it's not for long. I just need to remind myself, through all the noise, why I keep doing this❤️

It's been really inspiring going back through our 2017 album and making these wild songs sound bigger and punchier.

If you've been following our posts lately, you know that we've been releasing a new remaster every Tuesday on Bandcamp and Youtube✌️

Tomorrow, we will be posting a unique song about holding someone accountable for the damage they have done.

For those of you that know us, you know our sound is a strange blend of darkness and playfulness. We are working on new material to release soon, and that idea will remain a part of our style.

We love to tell stories with colorful imagery and express our frustrations and confusion about this majestic and chaotic world through the therapy of alien soundscapes and metaphoric poetry.

Right now, we are focusing on just simply loving what we do and respecting the process of art again. It's easy to get psyched out by all the convoluted gimmicks associated with artists trying to sell themselves....especially on social media.

With a ton of speculation on the subject, we have decided to put our energy into the processes we love....creating art and making new friends from the ice breaker that is art.

Art is our life...but in this landscape it is definitely not our career....and even the prospect of a career as a performer/influencer sounds exhausting and disjointed. We sometime forget that the fire we have comes from our excitement to inspire and be inspired by our environment....breathe in.. breathe out. It's organic. We are comfortable with that. We don't want to compete for the front of that confusing line. We only want to make authentic music and remain in love with doing that from now on.
