What is the new F word you ask?
It is Fragrance…. one of the worst kept secrets!
Companies consider it a trade secret so it can stand for over 3,000 different chemicals!
If you come across a product with the term “fragrance” or “parfum” on the ingredient list do not purchase!
Stay tuned this week for more info on Fragrance and how to avoid it!
Fragrance-Free vs. Unscented
Some products may have the terms fragrance-free or unscented on their packaging. Understanding the differences between these two terms is important!
✅Fragrance-free means that fragrance materials or masking scents are not used in the product.
❌Unscented generally means that the product may contain chemicals that neutralize or mask the odors of other ingredients.

Do you know the difference between the list on the left and right?
The list on the left are simply marketing terms. They are unregulated and can be added to any product package.
The list on the right is a list of ingredients to avoid in your products.
Make sure when choosing a product that you not only read the front of the label but take a hard look at the ingredient list!
