Dress 3 is a distorted Shirt 2. All the same except the side seam has been tweaked and extended into a more sculptural silhouette. The asymmetry underlined with black strings.
The idea occurred by mistake when you (Maja Brix) accidentally drag lines in illustrator and distort the technical drawing of e.g. shirt 2

This particular organic unbleached cotton is a high quality version of the calico cotton fabric used for toiles in fashion construction.
A lot of Maja Brix’ styles have these kind of celebrations and references to the history of fashion, to the construction and the demanding craftsmanship of making garments.
The shirt is a still picture of the process of making a shirt. Before the collar and the cuffs are attached. A tension between the raw and the perfect.
