Our community lost a great man earlier this year when Eric Dixon passed away. Eric was employed at ATI in Monroe, was an active participant in Make It In Union County, as well as Chair of the 2023 Union County NC Chamber Board of Directors. He was involved in several other civic and nonprofit organizations.
In Eric's honor, we have created the Eric Dixon Memorial Scholarship Fund, to provide scholarships to South Piedmont Community College students interested in manufacturing, trades, and apprenticeships.

We wrapped up an incredible with the Annual Manufacturing Celebration Breakfast. This year, Make It included a record 16 field trips for Union County Public Schools students along with Open House Tours and manufacturing and HR professionals sharing in classrooms. Those activities reached over 1400 students!
