And So It Begins....
Hi! I’m Dawn and I love food. I come from a long line of women who view food as a way to celebrate, console and show they care. You haven’t lived until you have attended a McTee family foodfest... its a rare treat. It’s from that love of food and family that Double D’s was born. After a life changing event, I found myself 50, single and looking for a new way to supplement my income. I tried several extra jobs, but working 65 hours a week is rough on an old gal. After a lot of prayer and a few sob sessions I realized the thing I loved to do was right in front of me. I was baking for work, for friends and anyone who would eat it! Why not bake for strangers and actually get paid for my passion. So here we are. My creations are a lot like me ... perfectly imperfect but pretty tasty! I promise that everything that leaves my kitchen is filled with love, passion and loads of butter and chocolate. Let me share that with you... Remember ... Life is Uncertain... Eat Dessert First...
