TAMUK Tuba-Euph Chapter of ITEA
The Texas A&M Chapter of the International Tuba Euphonium Association is a performing tuba and euphonium ensemble under the instruction of Dr. Jesse Orth.
The tuba and euphonium studio at Texas A&M University-Kingsville is comprised of members from across the state of Texas. Students have a wide range of performance opportunities including the TAMUK Wind Symphony, TAMUK Concert Band, TAMUK University Band, the Kingsville Symphony Orchestra, the Pride of South Texas Javelina Marching Band, Tuba Octet, Tuba Quartets, Brass Quintets and the TAMUK Tuba-

Congrats to Yasmin Cantu and Dr. Jesse Orth who were both honored to receive awards this week. Yasmin was named the Kingsville Music Club's Outstanding Upperclassmen and Dr. Orth was awarded the TAMUK Full-Time Teaching Award.

On Wednesday evening, Yasmin Cantu performed an amazing senior recital. She performed a diverse selection of very difficult works and showed exceptional musicianship and mastery of her instrument! We're certainly going to miss you in the studio but we can't wait to see what you accomplish in the future!

We concluded our week+ of studio events week a stellar ensemble recital on Wednesday evening. Maritza Gonzalez Tiffany Martinez and Bryson Ward did a fantastic job conducting and preparing their pieces and the whole studio stepped up big time, we're very proud of the progress y'all have made, go hogs!
