As the end of the year wraps up, I am thankful for all of the amazing experiences that I got to have with my supervisees. Five of these supervisees reached certification in 2023. I can't wait to see what you all do! I'm proud of each of you.
I am currently offering an extension of services for free to my currently studying supervisees to assist in passing their exams.

Congratulations to Jessica Phillips on completing her last supervision session. Jessica was one of my first supervisees and has worked so hard to finish her hours. She has improved in her skills in applying behavior analytic skills, especially within the school setting. She is a fantastic leader within the school setting. Texas is lucky to have her. I am so proud.
Increasing Leisure Item Engagement in Individuals with Autism part 2.
Once you begin your first day at your behavior analytic course from the course sequence then you can begin accruing hours. Within my online classroom I have more specifics on restricted and unrestricted hours that I am willing to sign off on. Go back to the handbook to reference supervision. Beyond the handbook, hours and activities are going to be up to your qualified supervisor that is supervising you. One BCBA cannot say another BCBA must sign off on certain hours or documentation needed so it is best to have these conversations with your qualified supervising BCBA.
Before you began teaching different leisure activities, it is important to assess whether or not the individual shows a limited leisure item engagement. The Response Restriction Preference Assessment can assess whether or not there is a limited leisure item engagement. Increasing leisure item engagement across multiple items or activities is a cusp. For example, research has shown that increases in leisure item engagement can result in access to new learning opportunities and skills. cusp
