Columbia Mississippi was well represented in the DYB Invitational World Series in West Monroe, LA. Our 7U team advanced after winning District and State championships and competed against other top teams from other southeastern states. Runner up and another great season boys! MS Dixie Youth District 8

Congrats to our 7U D1 DYB State Champions. They will compete in the 7u Invitational World Series in Monroe, LA July 21-24

COLUMBIA was well represented this weekend in the DYB D1 District Tournaments for our 6,7,8,9 and 11 year olds. Our 10U & 12U will kick their tournaments off next weekend. Softball girls have been working hard in warm up tournaments these past few weekends.

Another great year has come to a end. Thanks to all the volunteer coaches that make this all possible. Lots of fun memories have been made playing on this dirt.

Friday, April 8, will be our youth night. Anyone who plays at Dean Griner is invited (tee ball and up). You do not have to be from Columbia Academy to participate! Wear your gameday jersey to get in for free and you will also run onto the field with the Columbia Academy baseball team!

Contact Jacklyn Stanley at 601-731-4567 to sign up! We will need your child’s name, age, and position.

* gravel lot is reserved for handicap and volunteer coaches
* grass lot is for spectators
* waterpark overflow parking and tram will carry 20 people at a time
*additional porta potties are located behind the bathrooms

Opening weekend is set and local photographer Randy Medious and his team will be offering league photos. He will be located behind the Minor field in front of the Dean Griner sign starting Friday afternoon. He will have packages starting at $15 and many add ons to fit your needs.

Practice begins tomorrow and the concession stand will be open each night this week. I hope everyone has a great season!
