Meet the Team Monday! ✨
Meet Dr. Charles McBrayer! He lives in Lakesite, TN with his wife, Paige, of 33 years and his 2 dogs, Grace and June. He has three daughters - Maggie, Jennie, and Landie, and a wonderful new son-in-law, Houson.
Dr. McBrayer began this private practice in periodontics in 1995 and enjoys the challenge of his work and getting to know his patients. In addition to practicing perio, he enjoys a wide range of other hobbies including hunting, gardening, playing tennis, spending time with his dogs, and adventures with his family and friends.

North River Periodontics
Dr. Charles McBrayer, periodontist in Hixson, TN, offers advanced dental techniques and procedures to treat periodontal disease. Dr. McBrayer is specially certified to perform the LANAP Laser Treatmentfor gum disease and also offers advanced dental implant placement procedures such as Teeth-in-a-Day and All-on-4 Implants. Dr. McBrayer also offers treatments such as bone grafting, gum grafting,osseous surgery, sinus lift, and occlusal adjustment.
Dr. Strever grew up just outside Atlanta, and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia. He earned his DMD from the Medical College of Georgia, and subsequently his Masters and Certificate in Periodontics from the same institution. He is also Board Certified in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery
Dr. Strever is licensed as a dentist in both Georgia and Tennessee, and maintains specialty licenses in Periodontics and Conscious Sedation in Tennessee. Dr. Strever’s areas of expertise include dental implants, sedation dentistry, esthetic/cosmetic dentistry, gum grafting, bone grafting, laser treatments, and treatment of periodontal disease. He has published research articles and case reports in journals such as the Journal of Periodontology, and continues his contributions to academia while in private practice.
