Hoera! Het is de Internationale Dag van het Kinderboek vandaag! Sinds 1967 wordt dit gevierd, en wel op de geboortedag van Hans Christian Andersen (1805) bekend van de klassiekers onder de kinderboeken: De Prinses op de Erwt, De Kleine Zeemeermin en Het Meisje met de Zwavelstokjes. Een (bijna) nieuwe klassieker is Tim de Kleine Boswachter (geschreven door Jan Paul Schutten, geïllustreerd door Emanuel Wiemans) over Tim die gek is op het bos. Een prachtig verhaal voor kindjes over de natuur en vriendschap, en zoals voor alle kinderboeken geldt: zo belangrijk voor de verbeeldingskracht!

The Tree! Heres one of four yoga posters we created for our LesBambous line. All 50 x 70cm on 170 gr. The new posters just arrived and we think they look awesome. The shop will now feature 14 different posterdesigns just to start of with! We can’t wait to show you! Just a couple more days until launchingday! Don’t know about you, but its halfway February and we’re ready for spring! Here’s one of our new designs: we havent given this little Bambou a name yet though. Or her little butterfly chasing friend! This one is 50x70 cm on 170 gr matte paper. We’ve gotten some requests on Instagram and via DM to sell these early. And we will! Give us a week to set things up and please send us a Dm if you’re interested in this design or our lemonadeposter (see earlier post)

BonjourTatin is founded by Blonk and illustrator Emanuel Wiemans and focuses on bringing you all sorts of illustrated printed items. From art prints and posters to picture books, postcards, enamel mugs, stationary items, puzzles and handmade silkscreened T-Shirts, sweaters and Tote bags.
