If that mud clump looks like it's moving, cast at it! Might be a Redfish!
PAC Kayak Fishing and Adventures Guide Services
This Red was somewhere in the mud cloud. Keyed in and ATE the Knockin Tail Lures right by the boat. PAC Kayak Fishing and Adventures Guide Services
There was so much grass in the water and Red were hard to see. I managed to call this one out to come EAT! So fun catching with these PT-7 DOA Lures.
This Red identified as a Bass. I don't normally see them jump straight up like that.
DOA Lures
I always throw at Sheepshead. They'll hunt down those Bitty Buggs down! Good times with and PAC Kayak Fishing and Adventures Guide Services!
What's better than a TOPWATER EAT? A DOUBLE TOPWATER EAT! Me and Matt picking them off from the tower. PAC Kayak Fishing and Adventures Guide Services
I love fishing marsh pockets. This day there was a Redfish in every one I crept up in. Buggs Fishing
Winter sight fishing you'll come across super lazy Reds. I had made a few casts at him, but I had to get it right it front of him before it ATE!
Chasing the Big Uglies that hang out at PAC Kayak Marina at Oak Pointe RV is an tradition in itself. It's a big nasty, slimy, smelly fish that brings so much stoke if it's your first time catching one. I've seen so many smiles from all the folks that have caught them off the dock at PAC Kayak or behind the house boat.
I was trout fishing and seen him cruising around. I tied on a jig head and piece of shrimp and pretty much dropped it in it's mouth. Every trip I try and get one off the dock. This was the best one yet.
Sometimes all you see is a little flash of gold. Throw at it! Knockin Tail Lures
Couldn't have asked for a better day with the crew. Sun was out and the water was super clear.
Technically it's a double, if I still have my fish in the boat and Matt hooks up with another one. PAC Kayak Fishing and Adventures Guide Services
So many memories on the PAC Kayak Rentals dock! I was joking with about the Reds that live under the light and next thing you know I got one on!
Chunky RED on the pink hot dog! Nothing beats those days when the Reds are hitting TOPWATER. DOA Lures. PAC Kayak Fishing and Adventures Guide Services
Sight Fishing a BIG UGLY right by the kayak. This EAT still plays so vividy in my head. I was creeping into a little marsh pocket to check on Sheepshead and this Black Drum appears right in front of me. I didn't even have time to cast, I just lowered the rod dropped it in it's mouth.
pretending to be a fly fisherman 🤣
I was messing with a Sheepshead and see a Red on the otherside of the . Got him!
There wasn't much sun to see the Reds, so I swtiched to a DOA Lures PT-7 to see if I could find them with a topwater. Topwater EATS are the best!
The funny thing about throwing topwater for Reds, is that when you eventually do get an EAT - it's scares the crap out of you. Our buddy Krisz called it. Always a good time with PAC Kayak Fishing and Adventures Guide Services!
Took a late afternoon trip with Jameson Redding Fishing out PAC Kayak Rentals. We had so many misses that day and but this guy saved the trip for sure, with an EAT right by the skiff.
Love fishing broken grass. The Reds hunt there and so do we. Me and Matt from PAC Kayak Fishing and Adventures Guide Services knocked out a double from the tower.
I heard this Red busting bait on the otherside of the grass. I crept over and he showed himself.
You gotta be extra stealthy when a Red pops up right next to your kayak. I had to duck so my shadow wouldn't spook it.
When the Reds are out crawling, I like to pull out the good camera and film the action. Here Matt from PAC Kayak Fishing and Adventures Guide Services makes a sniper cast from the tower and drops it right on it's head.
Love watching them turn! Spotted this Red cruising and pitched it behind him and had a chance to adjust the direction for the eat on the Knockin Tail Lures. Always fun sight fishing from the tower on PAC Kayak Fishing and Adventures Guide Services skiff.
I was posted up behind a patch of grass and saw a Red among the Sheepshead. This guys gave me a couple shots at him before it ate.
Honestly thought it was a Sheepshead. I was out exploring around and the Reds were no where to be seen. On days like this, I just throw at anything moving for target practice.
Black Drum Tailing! One of my first trips out with and this Black Drum showed itself a few feet from the kayak. Ate the Curl Tail instantly.
