Make sure you’re ready for the election! If you are voting absentee, complete your ballot and place it in your town’s dropbox by 8:00PM on November 8. If you are voting in-person, make sure you know where your polling place is located. Find your polling place now at myvote.ct.gov/lookup. Your Voice, Your Vote.

CT primaries for the November elections are being held August 9, Tuesday, for registered Republicans and Democtrats.
Primaries cover the Secretary of State for Democrats and. Republicans.
State Treasurer for Democrats,
U.S. Senator for Republicans.
Last day to register to vote by mail or online for the primaries is Thursday 8/4. (myvote.ct.gov/register) .
In person registration is open at Windsor Town Hall until Monday August 8 at noon.

Racial Gerrymandering and the 2021-2022 Redistricting Process | League of Women Voters The 2021 redistricting cycle was the first one without the full protection of the Voting Rights Act. Without federal oversight, many states and local municipalities have used this advantage to implement racially gerrymandered maps, i.e. district lines that limit the voting power of voters of color.
