The JHS Girls’ Soccer season ended yesterday with a 2-0 loss to Westbrook Christian School in the 2d round of the 4A AHSAA state soccer playoffs.

But…what a hard-fought game! We gave it everything we had!

So very proud of all these players!!! What a great season!!! 11-4-1

The Jacksonville High School Girls Soccer team defeated White Plains, 6-0. Willa Kate had 2 goals, and a goal apiece for Kylie, Sarah, Emma, and Addison. Joeh added 3 assists and Alexis and Lizah with the shutout!
Way to go ladies!!!! Awesome job!!

Goals by Willa Kate (2), Sarah (2) and Kylie…with Joeh adding 2 assists. Great team effort by all! More rock-steady defense led by Vilma and Emma…and a shutout for Alexis…(and Lizah)!

Next game: An area showdown on Thursday, April 20, against White Plains, 5:30pm at the JSU soccer complex. (Boys play at 7:30)

Congratulations to our Seniors! Come out tonight and help us show them some appreciation!

Jacksonville girls came away with a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Etowah last night. Kylie scored with an assist from Addison. And despite all of our shots, the other goal was an “own goal” to close out the scoring!

Tonight, Jacksonville plays Talladega High School at the JSU Soccer Complex at 5:30pm. We will recognize our seniors, Vilma, Alexis, and Jordyn - between the girls‘ and boys’ games.

It was a bit chilly…but the Girls’ team came away with a 7-1 area win over Munford on Tuesday night! Another awesome total team effort!
Willa Kate and Kylie had 2 goals each while Joeh, Brenna, and Olivia all added one goal…and Sarah dished out 4 assists…

Next game: today!!! Thursday, March 16, 5:30pm against Munford at the JSU Soccer Complex.

Monday, March 13, area game at Choccolocco Park versus White Plains, 5:30pm girls /7:30pm boys.

Tuesday, March 14 area game at Munford, 5:00pm girls/ 7:00pm boys. Bus leaves from the JHS gym at 3pm.

Wednesday, March 15: practice

Thursday, March 16, home area game against Munford at JSU Soccer Complex, 5:30pm girls/ 7:30pm boys.

JV games are being rescheduled.

Tonight's game at Choccolocco Park is canceled due to weather and field conditions. Hoping to reschedule.

Congratulations to the Lady Eagles on a hard-fought victory over Cherokee County last night! A goal by Joeh Kim, with an assist from Addison Becker, gave Jacksonville the lead with 9 minutes to play. Fantastic defense and awesome goalkeeping preserved the shutout for goalie Alexis Johson.

Monday, 3/6 - JV girls vs Hokes Bluff @ JSU Soccer Complex. Game at 5:30, be there by 4:30. JV boys follow @ 7pm vs Cherokee Co.

Tuesday, 3/7 - Varsity @ Cherokee County, 5:00. Bus leaves at 3 pm.

Thursday, 3/9 - Varsity @ White Plains, game is at Choccolocco Park. ($5 parking fee in addition to game fee) players should be there by 4:45 pm. **Area Game**

Due to weather and field conditions, today's JV game is cancelled.

Mondays JV game vs Oxford is being rescheduled. The JV home game on Thursday vs Hokes Bluff is still on, as of now. 5 pm at the JSU soccer field.
