Thank you to everyone who stopped by to check out my booth this (Hot!) weekend at the Shelbyville Fall Art and Craft Festival! I appreciate everyone's kind words, & your business 🥰
I had a fantastic weekend at the Trims and Whims Craft Show in Shelbyville this weekend!! The weather was chilly but gorgeous 🌞 I met so many interesting people - and saw some lovely people that I've met at other local events! Thank you to everyone that bought paintings and jewelry from me, you absolutely helped to make it a successful weekend, your support means the world to me!
Good morning! All set up this morning at Trims and Whims, at Wright Elementary in Shelbyville. A wee bit chilly, but not too much wind & the sun is trying to peak through the clouds! 💗
*bonus points of you can spot my helper for the day! 😅
These are definitely my go to earring of choice for everyday wear, so light & easy to wear, this style stays put ! And so many different patterns 😅
These fun earrings really stand out with their uniqueness!

These earrings are fun to make - they're all so different! They're made with dried paint 'skins', the paint that overflows off the edge of canvases. After being left to dry for a few days, the paint is carefully lifted & used to make several different types of jewelry. I try to make each earring pair match, but with the way paint flows & drips off the canvas, that's half the fun of these! I make several different styles if earrings, I'll post them in their own folders, but here are a selection of them 🥰
These little foxes were a bunch of fun to make. I love the way their tails flow over the side of the canvas. Both sold, but I will be making some more soon!
All the pretty flowers! 😍🌼
Something new I've been challenging myself with recently, my Barn Series 😊 There are so many cool barns that we see on our daily travels around the bluegrass area. Some are in better condition than others, but I feel like that's half the charm in most of them! I have a whole folder in my phone now of barn pictures, the more ramshackle & unique the better !
This was such a fun, vibrant piece to make! ''Petal Power", 16"x20"
I'm loving doing these abstract flower paintings, each one is so very different!
I enjoyed meeting so many people at the Spencer County Octoberfest this past weekend. The weather was perfect and I had lovely vendors on either side of me! I caught up with several friends, and even got to meet a fellow Kiwi! Small world 🌎 🥰
Welcome to my art journey, I'm so excited (and let's be real, a wee bit terrified 😁) to share this with you!! I have been painting for almost 2 years now, and recycling the runoff paint (skins) to make unique and one of a kind earrings, bracelets and necklaces. Over the next several weeks I will be posting paintings and jewelry that I have for sale. If you have any questions, would like to buy a painting or commission one, please reach out and let me know!
