It's been another hot, sticky kitchen session this evening! Tonight's bakes are GF & DF corporate cupcakes to celebrate 60 years of the business.
I've never done teal icing before but love how its come out, matching these fantastic toppers, made by the wonderful Edible Photo Prints 🥰

Another milestone birthday cake made this week (although we're not allowed to say which one!)
I have never baked and iced a cake in this heat and wow was it a crazy mess! Our kitchen got to 35 degrees and there were sponges and icing slipping all over the place! I'm pleased to say it survived and was picked up and delivered safely after a three hour drive!
If anyone has any tips and tricks on icing a cake in a heatwave I'd love to hear them! 👇

💍 O U R W E D D I N G C A K E S 💍
So, I was told I wasn't allowed to make our wedding cake because it may turn me into a bridezilla (tbh, they probably had a point!)
So we got the wonderful The Travelling Cupcake Andover to make them for us and wow were they yummy! 3 flavours, all dairy-free and all went down a treat!
Here we are cutting our wedding cake with the Master Sword (because if you're going to cut cake, you may as well do it properly, right?!) Thank you to The Travelling Cupcake team for providing some delicious cakes for our big day.
