Our Story

It is a sad fact of life that medicine research is ruled by profits. It does not benefit Big Pharma to provide money into developing a natural substance, as the resulting therapy would be non-patentable. Even if the treatment is found to be safe and affordable, these complementary treatments are of no interest to medical giants. Why the passion: I can reflect back on my early childhood in Africa. I was always a passionate gardener~ something I inherited from my Mother. She taught me about African Shrubs and roots that would heal rashes and other skin problems. I remember opting to use a "natural" African toothbrush that consisted of a dug up root rather than a regular toothbrush.

We lived off of the land, in perfect harmony.

Fast forward 20 years, and I am surrounded by healing medicinal plants of the Pacific Northwest. The nettles that spring up at the beginning of the year, perfectly timed to release cleansing nutrients that allow our bodies to rinse out from the winter hibernation period. Only to be greeted by the abundance of spruce and fir tips full of vitamin C and maple tree blossoms that rain from the trees. We all have healing plants around us! We just have to open our eyes.
