Starting to see the finish line for part one.
Coming home.
Sometimes when a page isn’t working you gotta go at it from a different angle. I think this over the shoulder view will work much better for this scene.
Spending Friday night at the desk.
Here’s a throwback to my first original comicbook. It started as a college project that I never quite finished. I self published the first part of what was supposed to be a 3 part series. The book is no longer available, but the artwork is. This was my version of Santa Claus. A Nordic god, son of Odin who continued to live after Ragnarok in order to watch over humanity.
The recent snow got me thinking about this scene from Its a Wonderful Life. I felt like playing around with some black and white ink. Feels good to get messy sometimes
I’ve redone this page about 5 times now. Sometimes what seems like the easiest page ends up being the hardest.

I had the opportunity to meet one of my comicbook idols today This dude is an incredible artist and writer and a real nice guy. He even took a look at my own comic I’ve been working on and offered some great advice and words of encouragement. I hope he comes back to Fargo in the future!

One of my favorite characters from one of my favorite shows. I’ve been watching True Detective for the 100th time..
Working in a little action.
One sip at a time. I’m really milking this book, but I’ve got my excuses. One day it will be done and I can finally look back on it.
Been working on the composition of this page a lot. Finally ready to finish the pencils.
Belly up.
Monday face.
Almost that time of year again..
Chipping away
Almost done with one of my favorite pages.
