Fathers Guitar a film about healing though music. The wonderful community that Edmonton has when it comes to the music open mic jam scene. The spaces people created for upcoming artists to develop in front of a live audience is a wonderful thing for music. There is so much to share in this film i am very excited.
It's a honour to be indigenous and step out of the box by doing a film that is not a indigenous idea or story. This is for all people all races and spaces. Music is medicine for all people under the sun and moon.

We're so pleased to introduce you to the emcee and host of Friday evening's fashion show: Curt Young Music!!
Curt is an incredibly talented musician and engaging on-stage personality. The host of The Deadly Uncle Podcast, he loves having laughter-filled conversations.
In 2018, Curt's interest in fashion became personal, when he founded Urban Quills, a jewelry design company that uses porcupine quills to create intricate and beautiful accessories.
There are not too many men in this trade so he has been told his art is different and it has a masculine feel to it. He has shipped his earrings out all over the world along with setting up grass roots at tables in community centers across Alberta. Curt is a full-time artist for the last 15 years.
Curt says that music, dance, storytelling and Quills have given him direction and saved his life in more ways than one.
