As a GenUN campus chapter, we are ambassadors for the UN in our local community of Claremont.

Join us for our UN Day event and celebrate the United Nations' 77th birthday! This event will take place on October 27th at 6:30 pm. There will be refreshments and snacks from all over the world!
The event will begin with "Songs of Peace" by Michael Ryan, a local musician, followed by our guest speaker, John A Moore, who will speak on the topic of "Nourishing Peace." The event will end with a student presentation on the importance of Sustainable Development Goal #2, "End Hunger & Achieve Food Security."
Our guest speaker, John A. Moore, is the author of 20 books on the United Nations, a professor emeritus at Cal State Polytechnic University, and founder of its award-winning Model UN program.
A donation in any amount is appreciated. Donations will go to the UN's World Food Programme. Venmo and checks are accepted. Our Venmo username is -PV. Checks should be made payable to UNA of Pomona Valley. Checks will be collected at the door or can be mailed to UNA, 1015 N. Indian Hill Blvd., Claremont CA.
