This is the rainiest spring I’ve ever witnessed since moving to Colorado. Reminds me of being back home in Minnesota. I love it. Reminiscing the days of living on a river, getting rained on every night, and catching fireflies. Sad day 😢 this banging cuff was about to be the star of the show until I broke the stone 🖤it was a piece of obsidian that I cut and cabbed myself 😞 remember when you are out there supporting artisans that these are the pieces you don’t see, in between all of the shining successes there are failures too 🖤

Doesn’t look like much, but I’m so proud! On the left is a rough slab of an agate that I cut, and on the right is a completely finished and polished cabochon from the same material. I received amazing training on some pretty cool equipment from at yay! More progress posts to come!
