Concurrently, our consultant team has developed a public survey in order to collect more data to assist in the process."

The NOAA NWS Climate Prediction Center and National Integrated Drought Information System (NIDIS) are forecasting a "flash drought" for much of Indiana and parts of the Ohio River Valley in the coming weeks.
While drought recovery was fast and efficient this Spring, long-term groundwater and soil moisture deficits remain. With above normal temperatures and a drier pattern settling in, drought conditions may yet again rapidly develop across the Hoosier State. Those with stakes in agriculture should closely monitor soil conditions.

Great American Clean-Up: Today
We've secured a dumpster for the parking lot of South Wayne Elementary (thanks SWE!) from approx. 8am to noon.
Please pitch in and keep our neighborhood looking its best! There will be a limited supply of gloves and trash bags available starting at 8am at the dumpster site. Suggested clean-up spots: Alleyways, SW Elementary, along Fairfield and Broadway.
It’s here! This compost is high in nitrogen, and using too much can burn your plants! It’s best to use it as a supplement to your existing pots or garden beds. A little bit will go a long way! We are only getting a yard. Please take a bucket full, and share the pile with your neighbors. Happy gardening!
As yard sale season starts, please don’t put signs on the boxes or the black light poles along Broadway and Fairfield! It can ruin them. Your yard signs should not go on the wooden poles. Lawn signs work, just keep them off the park strip!
The dirt is here!
Foster Park is getting a playground update!!
More exciting updates!
