《今天是泰國 全民父親生日》
今天的好日子，對泰國人來說意義非凡，因為這一天是泰國（第九代）國王「蒲美蓬」的誕辰，在泰國人心目中國王可是愛民如子，永遠高於一切，熱愛程度已經融入血液裡。
所以每年的今天12月5日訂為父親節，在12月的泰國隨處都可以看到擺滿黃色花卉的佈置，全國上下都放假，並且作為國定假日。
在泰國某些特定節日，人民會穿出不同顏色的衣服，則黃色是皇室的象徵顏色，泰國人民會藉由顏色，表示對國王的敬意。
