As a Certified Professional Life and Fitness Coach I champion women 40+ to pursue physical health and spiritual well-being in a hectic world by focusing on their faith, food and fitness.
This past Saturday, I had the privilege of participating in the Holy Girl Walk in San Clemente, a recurring event dedicated to fostering a supportive community of women who love Jesus. 💗
The Mission: Walk together in faith, support one another, collaborate for greater impact, and point people to Jesus.
The event brought together women from diverse church backgrounds to fellowship, pray over each other, and build kingdom connections.
It certainly was a heartfelt and transformative experience!
One of the highlights was hearing the guest speaker, Charity, share a bit of her testimony and discuss her book, "Hard Reset." She even read a few short chapters and asked us deep, penetrating questions. We then broke into groups of 2-4 to share our struggles and pray for one another.
Bonus: The event culminated in a couple of life-transforming baptisms. ✝️
It's so amazing to come together with like-minded women and build connections around our shared faith in Christ!
If you're local to SoCal, mark your calendars for the next Holy Girl Walk on August 10th from 8-10am when I'll be the sponsor (location TBD). I'd love to have you join us!
Prayer is essential because it connects us directly with God, fortifies our spirit, and guides us through life’s battles.
Did you hear I recently launched Women Warriors Walking the Word, a 21-day journey dedicated to seeking God through prayer and lifting up our hearts to Him?
I invite you to follow along with me on Instagram. (There's still time to hop in!)
Here's What to Expect:
🙏🏻 Daily Prayer Videos: Each day, I will share a video featuring a new prayer topic.
✝️ Spiritual Growth: Engage in powerful prayers that will strengthen your faith and deepen your relationship with God.
As Ephesians 6:18 (NIV) says, "And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people."
Won’t you join me as we surrender ourselves to Him, call upon His name, and cry out for Him to heal our hearts and our land?

Our connections with others are vital for a fulfilling life. As we step into the second half of 2024, let's make it a priority to nurture our relationships.
Here are three practical ways to enhance your relationships over the next six months...just think of the great reward of deeper, more meaningful connections that is waiting for you!
1. Quality Time
Schedule regular time with family and friends to build deeper connections. Spending dedicated, uninterrupted time with your loved ones helps strengthen your bonds and shows them they are a priority in your life. Plan activities you can enjoy together, whether it’s a weekly dinner, a weekend outing, or simply a quiet evening at home. Consistent quality time fosters intimacy and trust in your relationships.
2. Open Communication
Practice honest and empathetic communication with your loved ones. Effective communication is key to understanding and supporting each other. Make an effort to listen actively, speak openly about your feelings, and address any issues with compassion and respect. Creating a safe space for open dialogue helps resolve conflicts and deepens your emotional connections.
3. Acts of Kindness
Show appreciation and love through small, thoughtful gestures. Simple acts of kindness can make a big difference in your relationships. Whether it’s leaving a sweet note, giving a heartfelt compliment, or doing something special for someone you care about, these gestures demonstrate your love and appreciation. Regularly expressing kindness reinforces positive feelings and strengthens your bonds.

Taking care of our physical health is essential for overall well-being.
As we step into the second half of 2024, let's make it a priority to enhance our physical health.
Here are 3 practical ways to improve your physical well-being over the next six months.
Each of these steps requires action and a commitment on your part, but the great reward of a healthier, more vibrant you is well worth the effort!
1. Regular Exercise 💪🏻
Commit to a consistent workout routine that includes activities you enjoy. Exercise not only strengthens your body but also boosts your mood and energy levels. Set aside specific times each week for physical activity and make it a non-negotiable part of your schedule. Find activities you love, whether it's walking, swimming, or even dancing 💃🏻, to keep you motivated and engaged.
2. Healthy Eating 🍏
Focus on nourishing your body with wholesome, nutritious foods. Eating a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains provides the essential nutrients your body needs to function optimally. Plan your meals ahead of time to ensure you’re making healthy choices. Pro Tip ➡️ Learn new recipes to keep your meals interesting and delicious.
3. Rest and Recovery 💤
Ensure you’re getting adequate rest and taking time to relax and rejuvenate. Sleep is crucial for physical health, affecting everything from your immune system to your mental clarity. Consider integrating relaxation techniques such as deep breathing or gentle stretching into your daily routine to help manage stress and promote overall well-being.
By focusing on these areas, you can make the second half of 2024 a time of significant improvement in your physical health and overall well-being.

As we step into the second half of 2024, let's make it a priority to deepen our relationship with God.
Here are three practical ways to grow in your faith over the next six months.
Each of these steps requires action and a commitment on your part, but the great reward of a deeper relationship with God is well worth the effort!
1. Daily Devotion
Commit to spending time in prayer and Bible reading every day. This daily practice helps to center your heart and mind on God's word and provides the spiritual nourishment needed to face each day with grace and strength. Set aside a specific time each day for your devotion and make it a non-negotiable part of your routine.
2. Fellowship
Join or start a Bible study group to grow alongside others. Community is essential for spiritual growth, and sharing your faith journey with others can provide encouragement, accountability, and a deeper understanding of God's word. Look for local groups in your church or community, or consider starting one with friends or family. This step requires you to reach out, get involved, and actively participate.
3. Service Projects
Find ways to serve your community and live out your faith in action. Service projects not only help those in need but also allow you to embody Christ's love and compassion. Whether it's volunteering at a local shelter, participating in church outreach programs, or simply helping a neighbor, these acts of service can significantly impact your spiritual growth and the lives of others. Take the initiative to seek out opportunities and commit your time and effort.
As it says in James 2:17 (NIV), "In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." By putting our faith into action, we can experience profound spiritual growth and a deeper connection with God.

Today, as we celebrate the freedoms we enjoy in this great nation, I am deeply grateful for the freedom we have in Christ Jesus. As believers, we are free from sin and shame, living in the light of His love and grace. ✝️
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to those who have served and continue to serve in our military. Your sacrifices ensure that we can continue to live in freedom, and for that, we are immensely grateful.
A special thanks to my grandson in the Air Force. We miss him dearly but are so proud and thankful for his service and dedication. 🇺🇸
May we all take a moment today to reflect on our blessings and the true meaning of freedom. God bless you all!
🌸 Exciting News Coming Soon! 🌸
Are you and your friends, family, or Bible study group looking for a unique way to connect and grow in faith together?
For my local ladies in Southern California, I have something exciting coming your way...
Stay tuned for more details!
Happy Sunday, ladies!
As we prepare for the week ahead, let's take a moment to focus on the importance of mind, body, and soul wellness.
By nurturing these three areas, we can transform our lives and relationships from the inside out.
The Bible reminds us of the importance of whole wellness in 1 Thessalonians 5:23 (NIV): "May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."
Here are a few ways to focus on your wellness this week:
🧠 Mind: Take time for mental relaxation and reflection. Read a book, listen to soothing music, take a walk in nature, or engage in a creative hobby. These activities can help keep your mind sharp and clear, reducing stress and promoting mental clarity.
💪🏻 Body: Maintain your physical health through regular exercise, proper nutrition, and adequate rest. Your body is a temple; be sure to take good care of it.
🙏🏻 Soul: Stay connected with your faith. Spend time in prayer, read the Bible, be in community with fellow believers...engage in spiritual growth to nourish your soul.
By prioritizing mind, body, and soul wellness, you can create a balanced and fulfilling life. This, in turn, will positively impact your relationships and allow you to share God's love and grace with others.
How will you focus on your wellness this week? Share your thoughts and commitments in the comments below! ⬇️
Feeling overwhelmed and stressed by daily responsibilities?
Struggling to balance self-care with caring for family or work obligations?
Finding it hard to maintain fulfilling relationships with the hustle and bustle of everyday life?
You're not alone. This is a common struggle among women over 40 who are trying to balance it all on their own.
The demands of life can often leave us feeling stretched thin, making it difficult to prioritize our own wellness.
But - it's totally doable!
By focusing on mind, body, and soul wellness, you can transform your life AND relationships from the inside out.

Marriage is more than just a union between two people. It is a sacred covenant designed by God, reflecting His unwavering love and commitment to us.
Today, as I celebrate my 47th wedding anniversary, I am filled with gratitude for the journey my husband and I have shared.
As Christians, we are called to stand by each other through joys and trials, to grow together in faith, and to support each other's spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being. Amidst the busyness of life, it's essential to remember your vows and continually nurture your relationship.
A Godly marriage is strengthened by:
💗 Praying Together: Inviting God into your marriage daily strengthens your bond and aligns your hearts with His will.
💗 Open Communication: Share your dreams, fears, and joys. Honest conversations keep you connected.
💗 Serving Each Other: Inspired by Jesus' example of servanthood, look for ways to serve each other with love and humility.
💗 Prioritizing Intimacy: Make time for each other, nurturing physical, emotional, and spiritual intimacy. Quality time together keeps your connection strong.
Through the ups and downs (yes, we ALL have them), embodying Christ's love in our marriage has been a guiding light and a true blessing.
May we all strive for a marriage that reflects Christ's enduring love and grace. 🙏🏻
Are you putting yourself last?
As women over 40, we often prioritize the needs of our family, friends, and work above our own. While it’s admirable to care for others, it’s crucial to remember that taking care of yourself is also necessary.
The Bible reminds us of the importance of self-care. In Mark 12:31 (NIV), Jesus says, "Love your neighbor as yourself." This implies that we must also love and care for ourselves. How can we truly love and serve others if we are running on empty?
Self-care isn’t selfish; it’s essential. By nurturing your mind, body, and soul, you become better equipped to handle the demands of life and to serve others with a full heart.
God truly cares about your well-being. 💗
Taking care of yourself enables you to fulfill His purpose for your life more effectively.

Relationships are a journey, and while you can't control others, you can control how you care for yourself.
By focusing on your own wellness—mind, body, and soul—you can improve your relationships from the inside out!
Taking care of your mind means managing stress and seeking mental clarity. This mental wellness helps you communicate more effectively and respond to challenges with a calm and balanced mindset.
Nurturing your body involves maintaining physical health through exercise, proper nutrition, and adequate rest. When you feel good physically, you have more energy and patience to invest in your relationships.
Caring for your soul requires you to stay connected with your faith, spend time in prayer, and engage in spiritual growth. A strong spiritual foundation helps you extend grace, love, and forgiveness to others.
You can’t put off your own wellness until our relationships get better.
Instead, your personal wellness can be the catalyst for positive change in your relationships.
Are you ready to start prioritizing your wellness to transform your relationships from the inside out?
Stay tuned - I have exciting announcements on the horizon!!!
I recently had the honor of being a guest speaker at a Ladies Spring Tea, and it was an incredible experience that reaffirmed my passion for sharing God’s Word.
I love the LORD and absolutely love standing in front of women, teaching the truth of His word, and watching it land on their hearts, minds, and spirits. It’s my pure delight. 💗
Seeing how the message is being received, and how it resonates with joy and even the hurts, is a deeply moving experience.
It allows me to connect on a profound level, understanding where each woman is on her spiritual journey. This connection helps me know how to pray for them and how to offer encouragement that speaks to their specific needs.
It’s moments like these that remind me of the power of God’s Word and the importance of community. We are not meant to walk this path alone.
Can I pray for you today? Feel free to message me privately or to share your prayer requests in the comments. I would be honored to lift you up in prayer. 🙏🏻
In the Bible, David chose faith over fear and drew strength from the Lord.
We may not face giants in battle as Christian women, but we all have "Goliaths" in our lives.
BUT...we don't fight the good fight as the world does—with ugly words, a lashing tongue, or a critical spirit. Instead, we fight with the heavenly weapons of warfare.
Ephesians 6:10-18 reminds us to put on:
The helmet of salvation,
The sword of the Spirit,
The breastplate of righteousness,
The belt of truth,
And to have our feet ready to go and share the gospel of good news with others.
These divine pieces of armor protect us and empower us to stand firm in our faith.
They remind us that our battles are not just physical but spiritual, and we need God's strength and protection to overcome them.
Applying God's truth to our own lives is the first step. But we are also called to help others live it out in their lives.
By sharing the gospel and living as examples of Christ's love and righteousness, we can inspire and support others in their spiritual journeys.
Stay tuned as I will be sharing about "Goliaths" we often face in life and how putting on the full armor of God helps us in standing strong against the challenges we face. ✝️💪🏻
We've been taking this week about being obedient to the Lord and walking through the doors he opens for us.
Today, I want talk about the call to be ministers of reconciliation.
Where is God calling you to be reconciled to another?
It could be in your marriage, with your child, a sibling, a friend, a co-worker, a neighbor, or even a sister in Christ. The call to reconciliation is a profound one, urging us to mend broken relationships and restore peace and unity in our lives and communities.
Reconciliation requires humility, courage, and a heart full of love.
It means stepping out of our comfort zones and taking the first step toward healing and restoration. It’s not always easy, but it is a crucial part of our walk with Christ.
Today, I encourage you to walk through the doors of reconciliation and restoration humbly and with a heart of love.
Let God’s grace guide you as you seek to mend what is broken and bring His peace into your relationships.
We are called to be peacemakers and to reflect the love and forgiveness of Christ in all we do. By embracing reconciliation, we become true ambassadors of His kingdom, spreading His light and love to those around us.
How has God called you to be a minister of reconciliation in your life? I invite you to truly reflect on this question today. 💕
In the middle of the word “obedience” is the word “die,” and it’s a powerful reminder that to be obedient to God and His call on my life, I must choose to die to self. This means surrendering my will and my ways and exchanging them for His.
This journey is not easy, but it is possible through the truth of God’s Word, the enabling power of the Holy Spirit, and my willingness to say YES to His call.
As scripture tells us in Isaiah 55:8-9 (NIV), “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Learning to surrender my will and ways has been a transformative journey. As I continue to lay down my desires and align my heart with God’s purpose, He has opened doors of opportunity to serve Him in unique and fulfilling ways. My job, my responsibility, is simply to walk through those doors with faith and trust.
When we choose to be obedient and let go of our own plans, we make room for God’s perfect plan to unfold in our lives. It is in this surrender that we find true freedom and purpose.
The process of dying to self allows us to live fully for Him, experiencing the abundant life He promises.
God is opening new doors for my business and ministry right now, and I am excited to share these opportunities with you. Stay tuned to hear more about how He is working in and through these new ventures!
Have you ever found yourself at the threshold of a new opportunity, wondering if it’s the right time to step forward?
As a Christian life and fitness coach, I’ve learned that God opens doors to us so we can grow, serve, and fulfill His purpose for our lives.
It’s natural to feel hesitant or unsure, but God doesn’t make mistakes - his timing is perfect.
When He opens a door, He also equips us with the strength and courage to step through it.
In these moments, we must lean on our faith, trust in His timing, and embrace the journey ahead.
Whether it’s a new business opportunity, a personal challenge, or a call to serve others in a new way, stepping forward in faith is a powerful act of obedience and trust.
Let’s encourage one another to be bold and courageous, knowing that God walks with us through every door He opens.
I invite you to share in the comments below an example of how trusting in God’s timing has led you to unexpected blessings and growth.
Together, we can inspire each other to embrace the opportunities He places before us!
Have you ever felt the profound presence of Christ when sharing a moment of fellowship with others?
Hebrews 10:24-25 reminds us of the importance of meeting together, encouraging one another, and spurring each other on toward love and good deeds.
The Christian journey is designed to be shared with fellow believers, not walked alone.
As a Christian life and fitness coach, I've seen the incredible power of community and connection. Whether we're sharing a meal, engaging in a deep conversation, or simply supporting one another in our journeys, these moments are sacred.
They are opportunities to experience God's love and grace in a tangible way.
Let's make it a point to gather with intention, inviting Jesus into our midst.
Whether it’s a small Bible study, a church event, a meal, or another gathering, remember that He is with us, guiding our hearts and strengthening our bonds.
How have you felt Christ's presence in your gatherings? Share your experiences below and let’s inspire one another to create spaces where His love can thrive! 💗

There are a lot of us currently navigating relationship issues, loss, and the challenge of being a caregiver.
I know how hard this can be and that it’s easy to let self-care slip through the cracks.
You might think there’s no time for it, or feel guilty for even considering it.
But...lovely lady, remember—caring for yourself isn’t a luxury; it’s crucial.
When you neglect our own well-being, you diminish your ability to manage stress and maintain emotional balance, which in turn, makes you less effective and more overwhelmed in handling family issues or caregiving responsibilities.
Here's what I recommend as a life and fitness coach:
💪 Prioritize Your Well-being:
Commit to small acts of self-care daily. Whether it’s a 10-minute devotional, reading a favorite book, or a short walk, find what rejuvenates your spirit and schedule it into your day like any other important appointment.
🌿 Replenish to Strengthen Relationships:
Make maintaining your physical and emotional health so you are equipped to bring patience, understanding, and energy to your interactions with loved ones.
🙏 Seek Support:
Don’t have to do this alone. Reach out to a caring friend, loved one, or to a coach like myself who is equipped with the experience and skills to support you.
Taking care of yourself is a way to ensure you have the strength to take care of those who depend on you. Let’s make self-care a priority, not an afterthought. 💗
I’d love to hear from you! What’s one self-care practice that helps you stay balanced? Share in the comments below! ⬇️
