If you’re in the Bay Area near Fremont, come out tomorrow night to First Presbyterian Church of Newark to hear a free jazz concert celebrating the Christmas season!
“The Music from ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ will be performed by The Jim Martinez Trio with vocalist Kathryn Skinner. The music was originally produced and recorded in 1965 at Fantasy Studios in San Francisco, so our last show of the season is only 35 miles from where it first happened!
The trio will be rounded out by Sacramento area musicians Matt Robinson (bass), and Tim Metz (drums).
