eiv, pronounced /iːv/, is a playful and responsibly handcrafted fine jewelry collection inspired by old-world designs and culture. The jewelry collection reflects a bridging of different designs and cultures that the designer, Evelyn Holzeis, had exposure to while growing up. Raised in multiple countries- Germany, US, Turkey and Italy- Evelyn studied Economics at New York University. After working in finance for several years and designing her own jewelry on the side, she decided to step away from corporate life to start her own label.
Today she continues to work with the same studio based in the heart of the old city district of Istanbul, an area known for centuries for its flourishing artisan workshops, where traditional jewelry-making skills have been passed down from generation to generation. Based in Luxembourg, eiv’s designs embody minimal styles with ornate elements.
