A little simplicity - elegant and classy.

After taking some time to decompress from life recently, I am slowly working to get back into the groove of the bead mat. I started this business thinking I could do it all, all the time. That's definitely not true.
I hit a wall. Head first. And then rock bottom. And I didn't bounce.
Due to this, my in person craft shows will be limited this year. However my earrings will be available at Heather's Boutique inside Strands Studios, at the Orono Farmers market with her booth every Friday and available via Etsy or social media.

Halfway through a brightly colored set! These are a real trip!

Someone asked me where I've been this month... well I've been here and I have been in awe of all of you! This month was huge for me in regards to orders to be shipped. I cannot tell you how honored I am that you allow me the opportunity to share my art.... And yes - that says United Kingdom (I may have squeeled a little when that order came in)

I always say everything I make is customizable. This is proof. Someone reached out and said they loved my Angel Wings but wanted them to look like frosted wings. No problem! Adjust the metallics and toss in a denim blue.

I love shipping day! It gives me great joy to know my work is off to new homes for beautiful people to enjoy!!!!

After taking a much needed vacation to Vegas, I am back at the bead mat! The color set was inspired by the Valley of Fire in Nevada. I can't wait to go back!!

I am starting out this year being transparent to my customers. This is the face behind the beading needle.

I started beading in 2020 after a suggestion for anxiety attack therapy. It slowly has grown to a small custom business of creating earrings out of very small beads. 

My vision of the business is something homegrown, classy, elegant and run by a woman with the mouth of a trucker. 

My favorite color is blue. My favorite flowers are daisies. I love my family, cat, and even my day job. I prefer coffee on a dock at sunrise over shots in a bar at midnight. I grew up in a very small Canadian town and pride myself in running my business with small-town ethics and values. 

I love simple things. Nothing too extravagant. 

I do not claim my work is "Indigenous inspired" or "Indigenous made". I have always been a huge supporter of the Indigenous culture and was even taught my beading by Inuit women in Nunavut, Canada.

This is me. Dream of Beads is my love. I like to think I put a bit of love in every piece I get to create.
