Il brano è ispirato al personaggio di Nina dal libro "Crooked Kingdom" di Leigh Bardugo. Nina ha sofferto per una perdita terribile ed è caduta nel baratro dell'oscurità della sua mente.

Ci sono due "voci" nella canzone. La prima è la persona bloccata nel passato, un passato pieno di dolore, problemi e dolore affettivo e non riesce a uscirne. La seconda voce è quel qualcuno che cerca di "entrare" nella sua testa e tirarla fuori.
