Anthony K. Ward II Memorial Scholarship
Although Anthony took his final bow in 2017, his energy still reverberates around us.
To focus that energy toward a greater cause, we have established a memorial endowment scholarship fund in his memory at the University of Tennessee.

I had a long and exciting weekend, crashing reunions and hanging out in downtown Clinton, to raise money for the Anthony Ward Scholarship!!
I want to say…. 🧡You all showed up🧡…🥺Everyone who donated, liked posts, came to say hi…. You made it time well spent!!
It will be a week or so before I have the total for both events and I will share OUR success with all of you. 📈💵💪🏻

It took 3/4 of a margarita and live music to get all nostalgic...
It is not easy to try to make all this fundraising happen. Covid has not helped, but I stay persistent.
I wish I had the energy Anthony had- the zeal that made you hyped to live 110% in the moment.
I know for sure...if he had to fund this scholarship, he would have had it done in a year...maybe two.
I'll do my best to share that energy, and thank you all for your support!!

“Don’t Stop Me Now” Anthony K. Ward II Memorial Scholarship.
Anthony Keith Ward II was a loving son and brother, steadfast friend, and a zealous Tennessee Volunteer. He was active in his community devoting time to Boy Scouts of America (Troop 131 of Clinton), IWFL Knoxville Lightning football team, and contributing to Knoxville’s music scene. Even as a thirty-four-year-old undergraduate, Anthony had no shame in showcasing his #VFL pride; he was an infectious force of grit and enthusiasm to all that knew him on, and off of campus. When Anthony took his final bow in 2017, he left his light amid the stairs of Ayers Hall, on the sidelines of Neyland, and in the hearts of those that knew him. Through this scholarship, Anthony’s loved ones will continue his legacy by enabling others to shine brighter across Good ol’ Rocky Top!
