We all live in a world where we are constantly competing in a race, to see who has more or better. We are all trying to do more and be more. But in fact we were called to rest in Christ Jesus. When we are so consumed by what we see, we forget to see what we are already holding or what we are already doing.

The only race we should be racing, is the race line with Jesus at the end of it. We should be racing to seek him and know him. Because when we know him, we can know ourselves.

“This is the document containing the family records of Adam. On the day that God created man, he made him in the likeness of God.”

And when we know ourselves we can help others know themselves in Christ Jesus. Because that is the ultimate thing that we were created to do and that was to love God and love others and point people back to his love.💛🧡

Sometimes it’s so easy to get caught up in the things happening around us. We may be facing a problem or issue and can’t see the way out. Or something in our lives may be changing bringing uncertainty and fear.

God tells us that no matter what is happening He is there with us. But not only that, He also gives us courage and strength to face our situations- how amazing is that?

Whatever it is you may be facing this week, we encourage you to step out in the knowledge that our God has your back. He will not let you face anything alone- He is always there- and He gives us exactly what we need to face what we are going through ❤️

With everything that’s happening around us- with how overwhelming everything may seem- the one thing that holds us together is trusting in God. Trusting that He has a plan, that He knows best and that His plan will prevail.

Whatever you’re walking in right now, we encourage you to hold fast to God and surrender whatever it is you’re facing into His hands. Let Him be your guiding light during your season.
