This is the official artist page of Shuya - a german EDM DJ from Hamburg. In 2002 Shuya started to produce Trance music. At least not the ones in his area.
Every now and then he released some of his songs and remixes on vinyl and CD and/or got played on Radio Sunshine Live. He makes music since 2002 with Propellerheads Reason. There were some tries to breakout to Cubase, Ableton Live and Presonus Studio One… but at least, he came back to Reason everytime. In 2012 he resurected his side project called “Shuya“. Since then it will remain his main projec
t and all songs and dj mixes will be released under this artistname. First steps are taken, so he got played with a guest dj mix in DJ Wicked Wes radio show on Digitally Imported Radio. Since years he isn’t taking the big and easy wave of the most prefered music styles. He often got told, when he isn’t playing Black or House music, he won’t bring it far and he won’t get a chance to get a booking in the respective club where he introduced himself with a biography and a mix tape. Shuya is in the opinion, that you don’t have to bend yourself for others that much. Indeed, compromises are needed – but not as far as it damages your image or leads you into a completely different direction. He loves Electro House, Complextro and Progressive House. But it seems, Germanys Clubs aren’t ready for this kind of music! But experience showed us, that club owners are wrong! Dada Life completely rocked in Dortmund. Tomorrowland is sold in minutes! Let’s try to change this! If you’re ready to change this situation, support your favourite DJs. Share their mixes, songs, remixes on your social media platforms.
