Let me introduce our new family member, puppy "Taitaz" 🧡
Beldins sister Taiba who's living with Sofia had a gorgeous litter with one of Sofias males, Pirak, a hard working sled dog and international beauty champion. I guess we will have a big bunch of fun togehter with this little man doing both dog shows and races!

Lïhke(Berglejonets Living After Midnight) is helping me feed and look after our reindeers we keep at home during winter. Such a reliable boy thats friendly and calm with the reindeers.

Me and my dogs were sadly not qualified for the European Championships on snow in Åsarna. I would lie if I said I was'nt dissappointed, but most importantly Im not at all dissappointed with my dogs performance. Im instead dissappointed with the procedure to pick the swedish team.
But as it looks we are not missing anything, our classes(sp2RNB & SW1RNB) is missing a number of entries so they wont recieve the ech status anyway 🤷♀️
Training and racing is still going on and we've been enjoying ourselves every run this season. Days like this Im happy that I love the dogs first and the sport second 🥰

This winter we have a bunch of our reindeers in a home pasture. To be able to feed them extra, keep them safe from predators and of course to do some work with them. We tame them(mostly males) and when they are a few years old the goal is often to be able to harness break them and be able to drive a sled or skiis behind them. Its part of our old sami traditions, this was the way that our ancestors traveled, by reindeer ald sled/skiis. It feels important for me to maintain this tradition and work with our reindeers this way.

The teams only norwegian black elkhound is turning 10 y/o in april but she is still keeping up with the race dogs! What she lack in size she makes up for with her big heart 💞
1st day(out of 3) of the swedish nationals is over and we are currently holding the 4th place(4/11). The class is extremely even so we only have 19sec up to 1st place. Im overly impressed with Pil, 10y/o and running his heart out like always 💞
Yesterday was all about these wonderful animals!

During winter, in the same hectic period of racing my sami village gather the herd for some work(separating old, weak and small reindeers). The purpose is that the herd is thoroughly checked and counted before being released to the winter grazing area.
