Prime Minister Ariel Henry's inability to re-enter Haiti, as reported, underscores the severity of the political turmoil the country is facing.

The closure of the airport in Port-au-Prince exacerbates the situation, affecting not only political movements but also humanitarian aid and economic activities.

The food shortage and high prices are critical issues threatening the well-being of many Haitians. Since I’am unable to be there physically, we are grateful to RFA and some people for providing food and to Pastor Nidaud and his team on the field for the distribution of food in Chantal. This is a vital lifeline for communities affected by these crises. .

The situation is indeed dire, and the uncertainty adds to the distress of the Haitian people. While immediate humanitarian assistance is crucial, finding a long-term solution to the political, economic, and social crises plaguing Haiti is imperative.

In the long term, International support, along with a coherent and unified approach by Haitian leaders, is essential to navigate the country towards stability and recovery.

As this story develops, it is important for the international community and those concerned to stay informed, contribute to relief efforts if possible, and keep Haiti in their thoughts and prayers. Your continued support and attention to Haiti’s plight can make a difference in the lives of many.
