It is with broken hearts that we share with you the double tragedy of losing our parents.
After a long period of deteriorating health, our mom Lesley passed away on the morning of Wednesday 27th October.
Tragically, our dad Brian suffered a heart attack and died instantly on the morning of Monday 1st November.
Further details regarding the joint funeral will be released when we have them.
We respectfully ask for privacy while we come to terms with this devastating loss.

Well haven't posted for a long time. What a crazy year it has been. Been so busy with work and other things. From sciatica last March, which laid me up for 10 weeks to this January when I slipped on the ice and broke my wrist in 2 places. 10 weeks in plaster then physio. Still having problems with it but at least I can make some things. This is just a few of the things I have made over the last year

Relief! At long last the cast is off. :) Consultant says it will take time for muscles to regain their strength and will be painful for a while. Too right it is, however now my cast is off hoping to be able to start knitting again very soon 1 stitch at a time. Will keep you all posted. order book is brimming and I have lots of new ideas in mind for future projects. Here's a work in progress just waiting to be finished
Just thought I would put a update on the page for everyone. Saw the consultant on Friday (12th) and hope fully everything is going well. new plastercast was fitted, so just have to rest it and wait now. Hoping to be knitting again as soon as the plaster comes off. Thank you all for your support and patience at this time.
A Woolly Tale
I have been knitting now for over 50 years. From learning at my mothers knee, I have gone on to knit for various wool shops and film producers. this has inspired me to create my page and bring hand knits very much into the public realm. I am willing to have a go at most things, so if you would like a creation please get in touch. The name comes from a blend of my love of knitting and the sheep I keep.
