We loved our time with the ladies from Woodburn Christian Church this past weekend! We felt so blessed to get to speak at your Daughters of the King womens retreat and get to know you all! đđ„°
A little over a week ago marked the first day of autumn and the official changing of the seasons. I gleefully switched the sign on my front porch that says âHey Friends!â To âHello Fallâ and hung a leafy fall wreath on my door.
Thereâs something about this time of year that feels so refreshing. I donât know if itâs the new school year finally settling into a rhythm, or the color of the deep blue sky against the crimson and gold leaves, or the cool breeze mixed with the warm sun on my face. Thereâs just a momentum to it that seems to keep propelling us forward. Like there are new possibilities just around the corner.
Turning a page in the calendar is one thing, but sometimes we find ourselves facing an entirely new or challenging season of life, and that doesnât always feel as easy. Things like a new job, kids moving out of the house (or back in), dealing with health issues, or grief and loss, can usher in feelings of anxiety, fear, or stress, making it hard to discern the best way forward.
But it's one of the best-worst things that can happen to us because it calls us to a posture of total surrender before God. It can also help us rediscover the many simple gifts that God provides every dayâif we have eyes to see them...Read the rest of this devotional by Summer Shore at https://experiencerevival.com/2024/10/02/faithful-in-every-season/

Every once and in awhile, I wake up to a day when my insecurities and worries threaten to get the best of me. It can start subtly, but then quickly spirals into a full-on questioning of the meaning of life! âWho am I? What if people donât like what I have to say? What if I didnât really hear God right and Iâm not the right person for the job?â
Do you ever have that kind of day? Maybe the little everyday stressors are starting to stack up and weigh heavily on your heart, making you question everything. It is so easy to allow these worries to get the best of us. The worries might start small, but can continue to grow until all we can see are those worries and fears. They begin to threaten how we see ourselves and undermine our purpose. Allowing them to consume us will keep us from the joy and peace that God intends for us. God wants so much more for you! He knows that the worries of this life will threaten our joy so He has given us a way to be set freeâŠ

SEEN, KNOWN & LOVED
12-Week Journey Experiencing God Through The Women of the Bible
Written by Melissa Campbell, Summer Shore and Amanda Swick
Imagine knowing, without a doubt, that you are seen, known, and loved by the God of the universe. In a world where it is easy to feel overlooked or insignificant, God truly sees us. In a culture where relationships are a mile wide and puddle deep, God knows us better than we know ourselves. When we look at how God interacts with women in the Bible, we find that God cherishes us more than we ever imagined.
Through this study, as you explore the stories of twelve different women in the Bible, you will:
* Gain a deeper understanding of Godâs heart, and experience His love more fully in your life.
* Learn how God esteems, values, and honors women in the Bible, and how that can shape your identity today.
* See God working powerfully in the lives of the women of the Bible, and where He is working in your life now.
God is inviting you to discover how He is weaving your story into His and be reminded that, just like these women, you too are seen, known, and deeply loved by God.
This is a great Bible study for individuals or to be done with a group. Learn more and pre-order your copy here: https://experiencerevival.com/seen-known-loved/
There are times in my life when I get super busy and days will go by before I realize that I have forgotten to take time to acknowledge God in my busyness. I remember this was especially true when my kids were babies and toddlers. I was so exhausted all the time. A few minutes of time to myself was a rare commodity, let alone time to spend reading the Bible and praying.
We all have seasons in our lives when it is harder than others to draw near to God. Sometimes itâs seasons of busyness, while other times itâs a seasons crisis or grief. What Iâve learned during these timesâŠ(read the rest of this devotional by Melissa Campbell at the link below)

We are excited to share this special new podcast episode with you today. As you may know, Revive Ministries is dedicated to helping women find their identity in Christ, and part of that is knowing God and how he sees us and values us as women.
We all have a need to be seen, known, and loved. But itâs not always easy, as women, to feel that way in our broken world. Difficult circumstances and painful experiences can even leave us questioning how God feels about us. But when we look in the Bible, we see that God has seen, known, and loved His daughters, since the beginning of creation.
In this new episode, weâll share some examples of women in the Bible and how God went out of His way to love, honor, and restore their value as equal to men, in a culture that treated them like second-class citizens. As we dive into scripture, our hope is that youâll be reminded of your true and unshakable worth, as fellow image-bearers of God and co-heirs with Christ.

Every July 4th we pause and celebrate our freedom. While we have tremendous liberty here in the United States, there is another freedom that is greater still. It is a freedom not granted to us by a government or a person, but a calling from God to live in freedom through Christ.
The word âcallingâ comes from the Greek word kaleo, which means divine invitation. Usually we talk about calling in terms of the purpose and meaning we want to find in our lives. We are invited by God to be a part of His story. He has created each of us uniquely, with gifts and talents and roles to play.
But God has also extended a Divine Invitation to live in freedom. When Jesus died on the cross, was buried and raised from the dead three days later, He broke the hold of sin on our lives and we were set free. Jesus conquered death and we get to share the victory!
Through Christ, we are invited to live in freedom from sin, wrong thinking and insecurity. Freedom from measuring up and competing with our friends and neighbors. Freedom from despair and hopelessness, loneliness and isolation. Freedom from addiction and being stuck in unhealthy cycles. Through the power of the Holy Spirit at work in our lives, we can experience a life that is truly free.
âYou, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.â Galatians 5:13
All of this freedom is ultimately for a purpose. We are not set free to run back to the things that held us captive again, or to be the sole beneficiaries of our new found liberty. We are set free to love and serve one another. We are free to use our gifts to help others, to lift them up and encourage them. We can point people toward Christ, so that they too can live a life of freedom and joy. We can give them a hand up, dust them off and lead them out of the darkness of captivity and into the light.
No longer do we have to be hindered by our past and our failings. We are invited by God Himself to experience freedom like no other! In Christ you are grounded in truth, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and truly set FREE!

Do you ever feel the pressure to be it all?
We think we need to be the perfect wife or the Pinterest-worthy mom, have a successful career, make sure our kids eat their vegetables, volunteer for the latest cause, and be there for everyone who needs us while somehow not losing our sanity.
The problem with trying to live up to this image or expectation is that we can end up feeling like we are never enough, feeling empty, exhausted, and unlovely. It leaves us feeling like we are ever-striving but never arriving.
We were never meant to keep striving to be somebody. Because the truth is, you are already somebody. You are already worthy, enough, and successful in Christ! He has made you the way you are with all the things that make you, youâto be who you need to be for your friends, your kids, or your spouse.
What if we got off the hamster wheel of chasing our self-worth and identity from our jobs, roles, and the approval of others? What if we first found confidence in knowing who we were made to be and owning that? What if we found our security from knowing that what defines us is who God says we are?

This week, we are excited to have Jason Campbell, our Director of Theology (and Melissaâs husband), sharing with us how we can start (re)connecting with God in just 10 minutes per day. Jason started Regnare Project, a ministry teaching people how to develop spiritual disciplines that help them grow in their relationship with God. We hope this short guide to establishing or re-establishing a connection to God will be a blessing!
--------------------
In these days of constant busyness and distraction, it has become more difficult than ever to maintain a life-giving relationship with the Father. This is a short guide to (re-)establishing that life-giving connection with the one that loves us and calls us into the good life of his kingdom.
Start small. As always, we start small, beginning with ten minutes with God. That may not sound like much (or it may sound like a lot!), but rest assured that this is plenty of time to connect with the one that gives life freely to all who come to him.

If you are feeling a little weary (or a lot!) have we got an episode for you! We live in a world where so many of us are addicted to hurry and busyness. This results in a culture that leads to burnout, weariness, and being constantly exhaustedâŠeven after a vacation!
We could all use the rhythms of rest and sabbath to help us create the space to hear from the Lord and bask in His presence. There is a beauty to rest that helps us find balance in our go-go-go busy world. In this episode, we'll talk with one of our Revive Conference breakout speakers, Mary Adele Wilcox, to discover the antidote to weariness and busyness and how we can draw near to God through the spiritual rhythms of rest and sabbath.
Mary Adele grew up as a pastorâs kid in Corvallis and Sherwood. Following in her motherâs footsteps, Mary Adele became a teacher and currently works as a 2nd-grade teacher in the school district that she attended as a child. She has served at Northwest Christian Church in worship ministry and childrenâs ministry for several years. Mary Adele currently lives in Newberg with her husband, Kieric, and their spunky, troublesome little corgi, Archibald, and is expecting her first child in July. So exciting!! We can't wait for you to hear what she has to share.

Imagine With Us!
Imagine having total confidence in who you are, secure in where youâve come from and in where you are going. Life can be hard, chaotic and confusing. Its easy for us to lose sight of who we are and who we are supposed to be, and lose our joy in the process. We can end up feeling numb, having lost our passion for life and for God. The truth is, that God is here, pursuing us. He gently reminds us that we have a divine purpose. We want women everywhere to find their passion again as they embrace their identity as Godâs daughters. It is in this identity that they are revived, and their passion and purpose are made clear in the power of Christ.
Everyday we hear from women who are longing for this kind of life. They long for community with others who love and care for them, they desire significance and purpose, they want to feel empowered to make a difference in their world.
Revive Ministries was born out of a vision to see all women know who they are in Christ and to live the abundant life God has called them--a life full of love, meaning, hope and joy! Connect with us through our online Bible Studies, weekly encouragement emails, and upcoming events.
