🔥 Roasted barley, chocolate malt and black candy were used as ingredients. They give this quadruple a full-mouthedness that is rich in rose aromas. 🥃🥃 Bunnahabhain is back at it again with three new expressions to celebrate Fèis Ìle 2023! These whiskies are sure to please everyone from the peatheads to the sherry lovers.
I had the chance to taste the Canasta and Manzanilla Cask and they are absolutely wonderful!

🔥 Canasta Cask Matured

This expression is matured in a combination of oloroso and PX sherry casks, followed by a finishing period in Canasta casks. Canasta casks are a rare type of cask that were once used to store a blend of Palomino and Pedro Ximenez grapes. The resulting whisky is described as being rich, complex, and flavorful, with notes of dried fruit, spice, and chocolate.

🔥 1998 Manzanilla Cask Finish

This expression is matured in oloroso sherry casks before being finished in Manzanilla sherry casks. Manzanilla is a type of dry sherry that is made from Palomino grapes that have been grown in the Sanlúcar de Barrameda region of Spain. The resulting whisky is described as being light, refreshing, and elegant, with notes of citrus, salt, and almonds.

🔥 17-year-old Triple Cask Moine

This expression is matured in a combination of oloroso, PX, and virgin oak casks. The resulting whisky is described as being rich, complex, and flavorful, with notes of dried fruit, spice, and chocolate.
