Wildwood Cafe launch Saturday 19th March 2016
Open 10.30am - 3.30pm every Thursday, Friday and Saturday
Wildwood Cafe is opening again! Set in a beautiful nature reserve in the heart of London, we will be serving fresh, delicious vegetarian hot and cold food, sandwiches, drinks and cakes. The Cafe is part of a unique closed-loop demonstration, which combines community enterprise with urban agriculture and sustainable food waste management. Micro-scale anaerobic digestion is used to turn food waste from the cafe into renewable biogas, a clean fuel used for cooking and heating water, and liquid fertiliser for use in on-site food production. We want to show how our organic resources can be managed locally to provide training, employment and educational opportunities. Come and try out the food and see the digester. We also provide catering for group events, parties and meetings at Camley Street Natural Park.

Hi there everyone,
Hope you are all well. Thank you for your help in making this year’s festival such a success. Hope you enjoyed the day. we thought it was great. There were over 700 people, a fantastic atmosphere, packed out workshops, all the cakes were sold and the weather was perfect. If you have any feedback that could improve the way the festival runs next year that would be much appreciated.

The next London Permaculture Network meeting will be Sunday 2nd August, 2pm – 4pm at Stepney City Farm, Stepney Way, E1 3DG. The main items will be on the festival (this year’s experience and preparing for next year) and International permaculture convergence 2015 due to be hosted in London. Hope you can make it to the Gathering
