“Genealogía culinaria matrilineal” es una performance que desprende de la obra: "Banquete del día de la madre" la artista hace un homenaje a las mujeres de su familia a través de una genealogía culinaria. Desde una mesa (dis)puesta con diversas preparaciones, Barbara presenta sus antepasadas a su hija. Sabores, texturas y olores conforman parte de la herencia cultural, sido un legado inmaterial que forma nuestra identidad.
Invitamos a las asistentes a traer consigo alguna preparación, ingrediente o condimento, que les recuerde a su legado matrilineal, para unirse al término de la performance a un diálogo colectivo.

“Matrilineal Culinary Genealogy” Performance by Barbara Bielitz.

“Matrilineal Culinary Genealogy” is a performance that emerges from the work: "Mother's Day Banquet." The artist pays tribute to the women in her family through a culinary genealogy. Barbara presents her ancestors to her daughter from a table (arranged) with various preparations. Flavors, textures, and smells are part of the cultural heritage, an intangible legacy that forms our identity.
We invite attendees to bring some preparation, ingredients, or condiments that remind them of their matrilineal legacy to join a collective dialogue at the end of the performance.
