As when Mannella, Lucretio, Marieu and Francesco Devincenti bumped into each other at the infamous PicNic34 in Berlin, a tiny Italian imbiss run by a common friend in front of the Görlitzer Park. That place became for them a place to meet and to hang out together, as well as the natural name for their common musical project. Cooking and producing music are two activities which needs craftsmanship
and creativity, but also efficient tools and premium raw materials. In 2014 Mannella was a newcomer in Berlin, but he has been making noise in Milan for almost a decade, refining a flawless dj technique and a cleancut behavior in the studio domain; his proficiency speaks for him. Francesco Devincenti is the pseudonym of a tin famished young producer that moved to Neukölln from the gray border between Italy and Yugoslavia. Lucretio and Marieu (a.k.a The Analogue Cops) founders of Restoration Records, Appointment, Bratha, Parassela, Machines State Polymers and Enlightened Wax need no introduction. Being used to work fingers to the bone, their productions don't need a sugarcoat. Free music which
spikes strong on soul to open it. Their sonic textures are thick as sponge cake. Collaborations with Cristian Vogel, Vladislav Delay and the other artists that will join the project, are the icing on the cake.
