A mature alligator has 80 conical shaped teeth. They have no molars for crushing and grinding food therefore they swallow their food whole. Lost teeth are replaced. An alligator may go through 2,000 to 3,000 teeth in its lifetime.

Don’t forget about your summer appointments! Summer Break is a great time for your child to come into our office for their appointments, and avoid missing important class time in school. Flossing Tip!

It is important to wash your hands before using them to floss your teeth to prevent the spread of viruses and bacteria! It is recommended to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds! Singing “Happy Birthday” twice while washing will ensure you’ve scrubbed for 20 seconds! 🧼🦷

Vivienne is an 11-year-old rising 7th grade all A honor student who plays viola in her school orchestra, is on her school's dance team and was recently inducted in National Beta Club. Outside of school she enjoys playing piano, singing, volunteering, caring for her many pets, and pageants. She is passionate about the wellbeing of SC foster kids and has formed her platform "Have Faith" named after her late cousin Kimberly Faith Taylor, who passed due to child neglect. Vivienne aims to ensure all SC foster kids feel safe, loved, and celebrated through Have Faith. Through her family's experiences as a foster and adoptive family and being deeply impacted both by the loss of her cousin and the adoption of her brother, this cause is very near and dear to her. Vivienne hopes to become a veterinarian when she is older and would love to own her own practice seeing both large farm animals as well as small pets. She can often be found singing Dolly Parton songs, and looks up to her as a role model because not only is she a talented singer, but a very kind hearted and charitable person as well. Vivienne currently holds the titles of Young Miss Lake Murray as well as Miss Walhalla Pr***en Palmetto in addition to several other festival and local titles. She is looking forward to state pageants this summer and seeing where her journey takes her next. Vivienne has enjoyed being a patient of Dr. Bob's at Family Orthodontics of SC and seeing her smile shine even brighter! She's looking forward to completing her orthodontic treatment soon and showing off her new smile!
