Race Only Springs

Race Only Springs, High Performance, Progressive Coil Springs.

Race Only Springs started as a project to develop and prototype the first high performance coil spring for the Boxxer in late 2014. After spending 2015 designing and testing the initial prototypes, it was time to get the worlds fastest on board to test its capabilities. This led to an extremely successful 2016 season where the prototypes finished on multiple World Cup podiums, and also finished wi

testing the limits of his tyre/rim interface, along with the strength of the berms in Morgins! Looking forward to seeing Kade hit the race track next week in Les Gets for World Cup stop 2, our 475-545lbs progressive shock spring resides on his factory Trek race bike. Hopefully we have a dry race to look forward to! ________________________________________________

A beautiful 2020 Devinci Spartan 29er with one of our 450-520lb Progressive Shock Springs, the owner was struggling to decide between running an air shock or going with coil. One of our springs gave all the benefits of both combined! Customer review below: _____________________________________________
"I have always preferred the feeling of a coil shock over air and after recently riding an air shock on my Devinci Spartan it was clear that the air provided more support in the mid and end stroke over my usual Fox Coil Shock.
With this came though came a lack of sensitivity on small bumps and and noticeably less grip.

This is when I came across Race Only Springs. After fitting the 450-518lb spring it instantly transformed my bike, it now feels bottomless with so much more support than the standard Fox SLS spring. Not to mention how much more grip I have. Faultless product, does exactly what it says on the tin.

Safe to say ill never look back."

Reigning World Champion out on Scotlands finest, pumping runs on the rock beast that is Fort William! No better track to really put bike and rider through total hell top to bottom. If there's anywhere to show where rider and bike are at, it's here. Love seeing our Progressive Shock Spring doing its track smoothing thing in slow motion😍 We're closing in on race season quickly, and it just happens to be on the track that Reece smashed to pieces to claim the coveted rainbow jersey🌈 _______________________________________________

Some amazing reviews have come in over the last few days from customers! As far as upgrades go, a simple spring swap to one of our high performance, progressive springs can have a dramatic effect on the bikes ability to handle anything you can throw at it! They are true high end motorsport quality springs and completely change how the bike handles. They're extremely sensitive in the initial travel, have more mid stroke support and perfect bottom out support compared to an OEM coil spring. Lots of customers comment on how the spring alone has totally changed the shock and bike feel. Plenty more similar reviews on our website! and knocking this Specialized Enduro build out of the park🔥 ___________________________________________________

A nice spread of rates that went out today across the globe, destined for both 75mm and 65mm stroke shocks🙌 On a 75mm stroke shock the progression engages at 70% travel (80% on 65mm), giving you all the grip and bump eating ability of a regular coil with some extra cushion for the pushin' deep in the travel with a 15% stiffer end rate. Using the same high tensile steel wire as factory WRC springs with all the same manufacturing wizardry and processes, the end result is as good as it gets! 2020 Downhill World Championship winners and as performance orientated as can be🔥 __________________________________________________

About as good a build as you can get with one of our 375-430lb springs fitted to an Storia on a Druid🙌 Initially using a 450lb spring which was a little harsh off the top, but prevented bottom out, the rider was able to switch to our spring and have far better sag numbers with ample bottom out😎 An incredibly capable bike with a dream build, even though it's a 65mm stroke shock, our springs can fit a lot of the shorter stroke shocks due to every spring rate having its own unique length. With the 65mm stroke, the progression engages at 80% stroke rather than 70% if using the 75mm. We have rates from 350-405lb up to 500-575lb in 25lb increments, the 350-405lb spring being 142mm long and the 500-575lb spring coming in at 161mm. _________________________________________________

Hit up 's YouTube channel to see his first outing and test on the brand spanking new Trek Session! Stunning looking machine with both Reece and putting in the hard miles in the Welsh rain and snow with .co behind the lense. Fantastic 20 min watch with Reece and Kade slapping turns in the mud with our progressive shock springs keeping things nice and smooth out back! _____________________________________________________

with a lovely little pre-jump into a steep, technical G-out with rider and bike completely unphased! Proper suspension set up with the progressive spring can visibly make the bike look like it's working as it should be, just need a talented enough pilot to steer the machinery! _______________________________________________

chatting to the .podcast about his set up on the Factory Operator at the Australian Downhill Champs at Maydena. Connor uses our Progressive Shock Spring when he needs the bottoming resistance of an air shock without sacrificing that coil feel and grip, combining the best of both. Unfortunately Connor dealt a big hit to his leg during practice and had to sit out the race, not long long till proper racing kicks off! _______________________________________
