While we’re looking ahead to August for our 18th & 19th shows in the Twin Cities, we’re reminiscing on previous gigs. A couple of notable visits… our first one, all the way back in 1985. And 2016 when we became the first rock band to play U.S. Bank Stadium and played “Hardwired” live for the first time!

We are incredibly proud of what our partners at Pattern have helped us create with Metallica.com. Part historical archive, part fan club, part store, part publishing platform, and part band outlet, the digital design and eCommerce agency thought outside the box and broke more than a few rules to make this site happen. The Competition will be returning for year two! With hundreds of thousands of dollars of musical equipment up for grabs, bands ranging from high school all the way up to D1 colleges will look to impress our expert judges. We can't wait to see which creative performances take home the prizes this year!
