It’s starting to look a little like fall, ya’ll! Mom’s fall florals are in the shop with a collection of vintage inspired prints, handmade pumpkins and more!

This dresser has been a lesson to listen to my instincts. I originally painted it greige (swipe to see to first redo) to hopefully appeal to more people. But while I got compliments on it, it sat in the shop forever. So, I knew it was time for a makeover. This dramatic and gorgeous green was the ticket!

Funny story time. Mom was helping last Sunday work on the salon windows at Glow (which turned out so dang cute- just look!) I was in the window setting up the windmills looking when it started raining. That’s about the time a teenager came running down the sidewalk and ducked under the shop awning to get out of the rain. This poor boy did not see me at first and when he did, I scared the heck out of him! The scream and throwing his hands up is one of those things I think I’ll remember for a while. Sorry, sweet fella for scaring you and taking a few years off your life…but I got a great laugh out of it!

Something that’s important to me is supporting the kiddos in our local community. I’m fortunate to serve on the board of the nonprofit Champions for Children, which partners with Guardian ad Litem to support the children we have in foster care.

In honor of April being Child Abuse Prevention month and preparing for our big Christmas in July event, I’ve made limited edition exclusive prints and keychains and 100% of the proceeds will go to Champions for Children. Prints are hand lettered and 5x7 and $10. Keychains are $15 and can be any of the three saying options and either teal or neutral. Message me in the comments to claim a print and/or keychain!

New prints will hit the shop this week- each handwritten and unique printed on vintage pages and music. I have 4x6, 5x7 and 8x10s ready to be framed!

Welcome to 2024! I barely know where to begin with how this idea has come about and my hopes and dreams for it. We’ll start with the recognition that I have been in and continue to work on a healing journey. Part of that has included collecting quotes and inspirational messages and thoughts I want to share… which of course I have to write out by hand because it’s a stress reliever for me.

In looking at some of what I want for myself in 2024, I have started with what I want to remind myself… what would future Erin want to tell herself? And so began the idea of writing notes of grace and healing from my future self to my current self. I have found this to be like a love letter and as I have been appreciating it personally, I have decided to share these thoughts and sayings with the world in hopes that it may help, nurture, inspire, or comfort others. I have lots of great plans for this and can’t wait to share! I’ll be debuting these in future 🙂

So, let me officially introduce the “notes from your future self” series. I look forward to having you join me on this journey!
