How to wear poison ivy without getting a rash! Just roll print it onto some silver sheet! After I pick leaves I layer and press them between paper sheets to dry them. I heat up the silver sheet to make it more malleable in order to create a good impression of the leaf. This is called annealing. Then the annealed silver sheet and leaf are layered between two pieces of work hardened brass sheets and run through the rolling mill. Adjusting the rollers is the tricky part though because you need just the right amount of resistance to make a good impression of the leaf without it completely destroying it!
