Hello!
Gosh, it's been... well, years hasn't it?
Will keep it brief as no idea whether anyone really follows this page but according to annual Spotify analytics there's about 90 of you out there regularly listening to HWG on there. Thank you, whoever you are!
Anyway, I just stumbled upon an old recording from Outhouse Studios, from July 2005 that I wanted to share with anyone who still gives a s**t!

They are the original recordings / versions of the songs 'Flames In The Back Row' and 'Goddess', which were later reworked, retracked and remixed for the 'Great Exit Lines' album that we misguidedly released** under the name District the following year.
(**when i say 'released' i mean we took some of the best music of our time as a band and threw it into a total abyss before a swift and final disbandment)
Anyway, on reflection I think the bpm of Flames suits the vocals much better, and the brighter guitar mix of both tracks pops more than the eventual album versions.
