only seven short months until i do 🤍
what was your favorite part about your wedding, besides marrying your person?? ✨
it's been a while since i've taken the time to truly think about the changes i want to make for myself and the world around me. there's something so peaceful and cozy, yet revitalizing about setting fresh intentions at the start of each month. in january, i did a pretty decent job of showing up for myself (at least compared to the past). in february, i really want to show up better for others. whether that's in school, work, or relationships - i know i have a whole lot more effort to give. what are your intentions for february?
missing the days of wandering around plant shops forever with . what should i grab next time i pop in my favorite plant store??
shoutout to oily perfumes for being adorable, customizable, and safe for my body. i love a cute product that smells good without disrupting hormones. can you say the same about your perfume? probably not 🥴
my current favorite perfume blend is valor, lavender + lime. i get compliments on it all the time bc it smells like a sophisticated fruit loop 😂
what scents do you tend to reach for most?? ✨
whipped up an easy peasy fall breakfast a few weeks ago and forgot to share! now i want all the pumpkin flavored things 😅
i mixed up these pumpkin spice pancakes according to the back of the bag, but instead of mixing in water, i mixed in some of the pumpkin spice creamer for a little extra pumpkin boost. 🎃
what’s your favorite fall breakfast or treat?? 🍁
i know there are people out there that go crazy when us fall peeps start dusting off our fake pumpkins, chugging pumpkin spice lattes, and decorating ourselves in chunky knit patterns or cozy flannel fabrics, but man, something about fall just gets me going. ✨
fall always brings a new, exciting energy that makes me feel so warm inside. i don’t know if it’s the apple cider, crunchy leaves, or cozy smells - but i love it and want to surround myself with it all year long! 🍁
this year i get to experience fall in a new city, and i’m so pumped for all the new fall treats, all the streets decorated in shades of orange, and experiencing all the festivities at chicago has to offer. 🎃
what are you most excited for this fall?? i wanna know alllll of your favorite things. 🧡
i’m super excited to move to my favorite city this weekend, but so nervous to pause my life and restart alone in a new place.
i’m so pumped for alll the chicago eats, fun experiences, and catching up with old pals!
i’m definitely going to miss my guy, my fam, my fur babe, my cbus buds, my plants, and my favorite spots.
if you’ve ever had to move to a new city, what did you wish you had known?? what did you find most helpful?? just a girl trying to survive my new normal. 😅
a HUGE misconception about grabbing a starter kit is that you’ll be sucked into doing the business or that you’ll be pressured to do so - i’m here to tell ya that this couldn’t be farther from the truth. i totally understand hesitating to grab products from a network marketing company, simply because of the reputation that network marketing companies have received (unfortunately from people who would rather sell than connect). but we do things a little differently around here. no pressure and no weird vibes - just transparency and love.
by grabbing your kit, you’re bringing non-toxic products into your home, getting a pretty cool discount, joining a community of pals that just want to create a healthier life for themselves, AND snagging these super fun welcome gifts from me! you’re not signing up for the business, and you’re not subjecting yourself to any pushy messages. if you wanna do the biz, that’s amazing and i’d love you support ya! if you don’t wanna do the biz, i’d still love to support ya on your oily journey!
if you wanna snag this cute diffuser (or $25 back), this adorable fall room spray, a yummy fall diffuser blend, a pretty little bottle for a DIY project, and allllll the resources, i’ll be a little DM away. 🤍
when you join our community of inspiring and passionate people, you’re immediately welcomed with open arms! we love love love sharing with our friends and giving lots of gifts! if you make the decision to switch over to the oily life, whether it’s for health purposes, sustainability reasons, or just for fun, i’ll send you a cute little welcome gift with all of these goodies! (and no, grabbing your kit and joining our community does NOT mean you have to join the biz)!
you can grab your starter kit and welcome gift by clicking the link below! please don’t hesitate to reach out - i’d love to be here for you every step of the way 🤍🌿

the egg sandwich from will always be my favorite. not sure how i’m supposed to survive the next 3 months without it. what are some of the best breakfast spots in chicago?? ✨
something that’s always sure to bring a smile is an unfurling leaf, and this monstera babe is always shooting our new ones 🌿🤍
still obsessed with this cute little diffuser and this oily combo. oh, and my sansevieria moonshine 🌿
there aren’t many things i would choose over a yummy breakfast. i woke up craving a slice of smoked salmon avo toast, but i 1) didn’t have anything to make it because i conveniently never have what i’m craving on hand, and 2) i accidentally snoozed my alarm a few too many times and had to sprint to my first day of in-person class lolol - any other hot mess expresses out there?? sooo i may be adding the ingredients to my grocery list for next week... 🤔 what are your favorite ways to doctor up your avo toast?? 🥑
Catch this super relaxed class/chat on my Instagram this Friday!

made the switch to a safety razor (this one is from ) not too long ago because i loved that i wasn’t tossing an entire razor or razor head in the trash every week or so. paired with this shave oil from , my legs are sooo smooth and i don’t have to feel bad about it. 🤷🏻♀️ what’s your favorite sustainable swap so far??
is anyone else itching to get to the plant store?? i’ve been dying to go back to my happy place. i’ll probably need to make some room for new plant babes first... 🌿🤍
since getting my kit, i’ve been pumping these two oils like crazy. this combo smells like a little peppermint treat! always down for more diffuser inspo - what blends have you been reaching for lately??
i’ve been prettttty lazy with prepping breakfasts lately. i’ve been resorting to grabbing something convenient and j***y, or nothing at all. i know i know.. it’s not ideal but i’ve just been in a rut. what are your go-to breakfasts when ya just don’t feel like making anything?? ✨

dEATS for this strawberry chia pudding: i mixed 1/4 c. strawberry probiotic drink, 1/4 c. oat milk, 3 tbsp. chia seeds and 1 tsp. honey into a jar and shook it really well. i popped it in the fridge overnight and then topped with strawbs, chocolate chips, and a pb drizzle! 🍓
the joy i experience from watching my plant babies sprout new life is unlike anything else. my zz plant has consistently been a slow and steady grower. because she enjoys more “hands off” care, i don’t spend as much time nurturing her as i do my other babes. a couple of weeks ago, i noticed some small little buds hanging out around her stalks. these little buds have quickly become fresh, new stalks and i can’t stop marveling at her rapid growth! it just goes to show that growth takes time. so please, be gentle with yourself. you will grow too, i promise. 🌿
•
PS - if you love plants but tend to forget about them until they die, you MUST get your hands on a zz plant ASAP! they can go several weeks without water and don’t require as much light as some other plant babes. they’re so forgiving and the perfect plant for every home ✨
i’ve had a little extra time on my hands these past few days to really work on myself. i started to notice that i had been feeling so tense and grumpy lately, getting worked up over the smallest things. this weekend, i had a mantra that i kept repeating to myself and i would love to share - “i cannot control the way people act or what they say, but i am in control of how i react and what i feel”. it sounds silly because it’s so obvious, but sometimes ya just forget! i felt like a goofball repeating it out loud as i was in the car, or stopping in my place at target to smile, breathe and repeat it internally, but i promise it helped so much. despite being too sick to function, this weekend was probably one of the most gentle and peaceful weekends that i’ve had in such a long time. the effects radiated into today (yes, a MONDAY) and i’m still feeling so light and grateful. it’s not a perfect practice and it’s certainly something new for me, but i encourage you to try it out for yourself and see how you feel when you let go of what’s out of your control! 🌿

dEATS: sourdough slices topped with vanilla skyr, blueberry preserves, super butter drizzle, bee pollen, and h**p hearts 😋
this is definitely not what’s for dinner tonight because i’m feeling super sick and lazy but i’m craving another loaded salad! this one was just a bed of greens with sprouts, roasted carrots, cucumber, radish slices, avocado, and chicken that i cooked in the ! all topped off with a few splashes of hot sauce 🌶 i’m not usually one to add heat to my meals, but their cayenne garlic sauce was too good to resist! catch me pouring half the bottle into my chicken noodle soup to help clear out these yucky sinuses 😜 @ Columbus, Ohio
i don’t talk about plants on here much (other than my stories) and i 100% plan on changing that! i’ve become quite the crazy plant lady, and these cute little nuggets just bring me so much life and joy! here’s the first picture i ever took of one of my favorite plant babes. it’s already grown soooo much over the last few months. this is a *calathea ornata* - the little pink pinstripes are adorable and unique to this plant, and they’re what originally drew me in! fun fact: the leaves also open during the day and close up at night! for someone who’s a beginner with plants but ready to take a small step up, i absolutely recommend a pinstripe prayer plant. i mean, how cute are they?! 🌿
hi this is your reminder to enjoy the little things in life, even if they don’t fit in your calories/macros/diet. ✨

josh and i took a little trip to nashville for a long weekend and made an absolute priority on our list! well worth the mess! 🍩
looking for something quick and easy but tastes like you put in effort?? throw a bag of mushroom risotto with some fresh spinach and mushrooms, then top with avo and a jammy egg! 😋
big big fan of poached eggs right now. literally always finding an excuse to throw them on my plate! i put these eggs on top of some sautéed sweet potatoes, kale, and mushrooms. even shared some leftover raw kale with the turtles! such a nourishing breakfast for all three of us 😜
Take some time 🙏🏼🐺❤️

Just a little reminder 🥰🥰
